Demetrios Giannaros (born October 4,1949) is an American politician who served in the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 21st district from 1995 to 2011. [1] [2]

Spyridon Giannaros is a Greek competitive rower who lives in Athens. He is a two-time World Champion in the men's lightweight quadruple sculls. In 2014 he made world best time in Lm4x with Panagiotis Magdanis and Konsolas brothers. He won the gold medal at the 2012 Word rowing under 23 Championship in Trakai Lithuania,Lightweight single sculls. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro,in the men's lightweight coxless four,finishing in the sixth place. In 2021 he graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of West Attica.
The 2020 Connecticut Democratic presidential primary took place on August 11,2020,as part of the Democratic Party primaries for the 2020 presidential election. It was originally to take place on April 28,2020,as one of several northeastern states in the "Acela primary",but was rescheduled twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The state was the last one to hold a Democratic presidential contest long before the penultimate contest more than a month prior and had been pushed to only one week before the rescheduled 2020 Democratic National Convention. The Connecticut primary was a closed primary,with the state awarding 75 delegates to the national convention,of which 60 were pledged delegates allocated on the basis of the primary results.

The 1935 New Hampshire Wildcats football team was an American football team that represented the University of New Hampshire as a member of the New England Conference during the 1935 college football season. In its 20th season under head coach William "Butch" Cowell,the team compiled a 2–5–1 record,being outscored by their opponents 55–120. The team scored 47 of their points in two shutout wins,and only eight total points in their other six games. All five losses came in away games;the team had two wins and a tie at home. The team played its home games in Durham,New Hampshire,at Memorial Field.
