Denes Kumar, better known as Denes, is a Malaysian actor, film producer and scriptwriter. [1] [2] [3] [4] He wrote, acted and produced Vedigundu Pasangge that received awards and nominations from national and international film festivals. [5] [6] [7] Denes is a member of the board of directors of National Film Development Corporation Malaysia. [8] [9] He also is a TV host. He co-hosted a travel show called KL To Karaikudi, where he and co-host Nisha Wong travelled through several countries on a motorbike. [10] Denes produced and was the lead actor in horror comedy Vere Vazhi Ille, the first zombie film in Tamil. [11] He is the founder and CEO at Veedu Production Sdn, a film production company in Puchong, Malaysia. [12] In 2015, he was awarded as the Most Popular Artiste and Best Male TV Anchor by Malaysian Kalai Ulagam Awards.
