Lee played in the National Hockey League with the Ottawa Senators, who drafted him in the first round, ninth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Originally considered one of the top defensive prospects, Lee had a solid NHL career but arguably did not live up to expectations of the 9th overall draft selection, only playing in 209 career NHL games.

Deschamps made his professional debut in the AHL in 2009 when he appeared in two games for the Iowa Chops. He made his National Hockey League debut in the 2013–14 season with the Washington Capitals.
William Richard Mitchell was a Canadian professional ice hockey defencemen. He played in one National Hockey League game for the Detroit Red Wings during the 1963–64 NHL season, on February 23, 1964 against the Montreal Canadiens. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1948 to 1973, was spent in various minor leagues. He also played for the Canadian national team, winning a silver medal at the 1962 World Championships. He died at a hospice in Toledo, Ohio in 2014, of kidney failure.

Denis Meloche is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played in the World Hockey Association (WHA). Drafted in the ninth round of the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft by the California Golden Seals, Meloche opted to play in the WHA after being selected by the Miami Screaming Eagles in the WHA General Player Draft. He played parts of two seasons for the Blazers franchise — which had moved from Miami before their inaugural season — in Philadelphia and Vancouver. Aside from a nine-game stint with the Maine Mariners of the American Hockey League (AHL) he spent his final four professional seasons with the Salt Lake Golden Eagles of the Central Hockey League, where he was named a CHL Second Team All-Star in 1974–75.

He played parts of two WHA seasons for the Philadelphia Blazers, New York Raiders, New York Golden Blades and Jersey Knights.
