Denis Dmitrovich Istomin (Russian : Денис Дмитриевич Истомин; born 12 January 1987) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward. He was drafted 117th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League.

Denis Mikhailovich Arkhipov is a Russian former professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League with the Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks between 2000 and 2007, and then in the Kontinental Hockey League between 2008 and 2013. Internationally Arkhipov played for the Russian national team at the junior and senior level, including the 2003 and 2006 World Championships.
Joseph Marc Denis is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender, who last played with the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). For the 2009–10 season, he was hired as the goaltenders' coach of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) team. He is currently working as a colour analyst for the Francophone Canadian sports station, RDS. He is the all time leader in save percentage in the shootout among goaltenders who have faced at least 40 shootout attempts.
Denis Gauthier, Jr. is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. A first round selection of the Calgary Flames at the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, Gauthier played for the Flames, Phoenix Coyotes, Philadelphia Flyers and Los Angeles Kings during his ten-season National Hockey League (NHL) career.

Denis Gennadievich Tsygurov was a Russian professional ice hockey player. Tsygurov was drafted in the second round, 38th overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft following two seasons with HC Lada Togliatti of the Russian Hockey Super League. Tsygurov came to North America the following year and played in 24 games with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League and four games for the Sabres during the 1993–94 season. Metlyuk was drafted in the second round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers and played parts of two seasons in North America for the Hershey Bears, the Flyers' AHL affiliate at the time. He played 14 seasons in the RSL for HC Lada Togliatti, Ak Bars Kazan, Salavat Yulaev Ufa, HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, and HC Khimik Voskresensk. He is the brother of Filipp Metlyuk.
