Coralie Denise Simmons is an American water polo player, who won the silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics. In 2001, she won the Peter J. Cutino Award, presented annually to the top American collegiate water polo player. Simmons is currently in her third season as the women's water polo coach at the University of California, Berkeley, after nine seasons as the head coach at Sonoma State University. She was born in Hemet, California.
Peter J. Cutino was an American swimming and water polo coach and educator for over 40 years and the author of several books and numerous articles on coaching aquatic sports. In his 26 years as head coach at the University of California, Berkeley, his Cal teams won eight NCAA titles. He was the all-time winning coach in U.S. water polo history. His efforts for water sports training, development of facilities for competition and philanthropic support of athletes earned him national recognition. In 1999, the Peter J. Cutino Award was established in his honor by the San Francisco Olympic Club, and is presented annually to the top American male and female collegiate water polo players.
Anikó Pelle is an international water polo player from Hungary, who played for the University of Southern California from 1999 to 2002, and on the Hungarian National Team in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. In 2000, Pelle received the Peter J. Cutino Award as the nation's top women's collegiate water polo player.

The USC Trojans are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. While the men's teams are nicknamed the Trojans, the women's athletic teams are referred to as either the Trojans or Women of Troy. The program participates in the Pac-12 Conference and has won 136 team national championships, 112 of which are National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) national championships. USC's official colors are cardinal and gold. The Trojans have a cross-town rivalry in several sports with UCLA. Greg Meehan is an American swimming coach, as well as the women's head coach for the Stanford swim team. In 2016, Meehan was selected to be an assistant coach for the US Women's Olympic Swimming Team. Meehan coached Katie Ledecky, Maya DiRado, Simone Manuel, and Lia Neal to eleven gold medals, seven silver medals, and two bronze medals. He formerly served as an associate head coach at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to Cal, Meehan was the men's and women's head coach at University of the Pacific. As a collegiate athlete, Meehan swam at Rider University, in New Jersey, as a backstroker.
Regan Smith is an American competitive swimmer. She is the world junior record holder in the women's long course 100-meter backstroke and 200-meter backstroke and a former world record holder in the long course 100-meter backstroke and the 200-meter backstroke. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in three events representing the United States, winning a bronze medal in the 100-meter backstroke, a silver medal in the 200-meter butterfly, and a silver medal in the 4×100-meter medley relay. At the World Aquatics Championships, she won gold medals in the 200-meter backstroke in 2019 and the 100-meter backstroke in 2022.
Madeline Musselman is an American water polo player. Maddie was named Woman's water polo MVP after her USA Team won gold in Tokyo at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She was one of the highest leading scorers with 18 goals. It is the fourth time in her career that she has been named the MVP of a major international tournament as she was named the MVP of the FINA World League Super Final in 2019 and again in 2021. She was also named the MVP of the FINA World Championships in 2017 where Team USA won gold; scored 16 goals in six games, including hat trick in 13–6 final-round win over Spain. Additionally, the four-time First-Team All-American, at UCLA, was also named the 2021 and 2022 Women's Total Player of the Year by (Total Waterpolo).
Stephania Haralabidis was born in Athens, Greece. Haralabidis is an American water polo player who played at USC and currently playing for Ethnikos and the U.S. national team. Haralabidis also has two sisters, her twin Ioanna and older sister Anastaia. Ioanna was also on the USC women's water polo team.
Kaitlyn Dobler is an American competitive swimmer. She is the 2022 NCAA Division I champion in the 100-yard breaststroke. She won the national title in the 100-meter breaststroke at the 2022 US National Championships. At the 2019 World Junior Championships, she won the silver medal in the 100-meter breaststroke and the bronze medal in the 50-meter breaststroke, in addition to winning a gold medal in the 4×100-meter medley relay, swimming the breaststroke leg of the relay in the final.
