The Dennis Coralluzzo Invitational was a professional wrestling memorial event produced by the NWA New Jersey (NWA-NJ) promotion, which took place on September 26, 2009, at the Wayne PAL (Police Athletic League) in Wayne, New Jersey; [1] It was held in honor of Dennis Coralluzzo, a longtime New Jersey wrestling promoter and one-time president of the National Wrestling Alliance, who had died on July 30, 2001, after suffering a fatal stroke. As part of the event, his family were present to accept his posthumous introduction to the NWA Hall of Fame. The event was sponsored by Smash Fight Wear, a mixed martial arts equipment manufacturer, and open to the general public free of charge. The main event was a standard wrestling match of a tournament final for the NWA New Jersey Television Championship between Crowbar and Judas Young, in which Crowbar won the vacant championship. Other participants included Justin Corino, Monsta Mack, Danny Demanto, Dan Maff, B-Boy and Josh Daniels. Another featured match was The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian & The Warlord) versus The Varsity Club (Baby Hughie & Rob Eckos). The vacant NWA New Jersey Television Tag Team Championship was won by Fire Power (Danny Inferno and Jim Powers) after defeating The Spirit Squad (Kenny and Mikey), [2] [4] and Rik Ratchett beat Biggie Biggs. [5] [6] [7] [8] Other wrestlers such as Afa Anoa'i Jr., Lance Cade, and Mike Mondo were among those originally scheduled to appear for the memorial show but later had to cancel their appearance. The Century Wrestling Alliance, formerly known as NWA Cold Front and NWA New England, was a New England-based American independent wrestling promotion located in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded by Tony Rumble in 1989, a retired wrestler and manager in International World Class Championship Wrestling, and included much of its roster prior to and following its close during the early 1990s. The promotion eventually replaced IWCCW as the dominant independent promotion in the Greater Boston area and, in 1997, became an affiliated territory of the National Wrestling Alliance.
James E. Allen is an American professional wrestler and promoter, best known by his ringname "Big" Paulie Gilmore or Gilmorea, who wrestled on the New England independent circuit for the Century Wrestling Alliance, the National Wrestling Alliance, the Millennium Wrestling Federation and the World Wrestling Alliance during the 1990s and early 2000s. He is also the owner of New World Wrestling, a small promotion based in southeastern Massachusetts, which was formerly associated with NWA New England from 2004 to 2005.
The Eddie Gilbert Memorial Brawl was an annual professional wrestling event held between 1996 and 1999 as a tribute to wrestler Eddie Gilbert and featured talent from the National Wrestling Alliance, World Wrestling Federation and Extreme Championship Wrestling, as well as local and established independent wrestlers. Each year, the event would feature the Gilbert family receiving a plaque from promoter Dennis Coralluzzo. In 1998, the show came under some criticism when Coralluzzo was alleged to have used the in-ring plaque presentation to publicly attack Paul Heyman, as did the Gilbert family, provoking a verbal altercation between himself and ECW fans in attendance.

Before signing to TNA, he performed under the ring name Kenneth Cameron for WWE's developmental territory NXT as a member of The Ascension.
Extreme Rising was an American independent professional wrestling promotion founded in 2012. Meant to fill the void of hardcore wrestling left behind by the defunct Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Extreme Rising assembled a roster of ECW alumni, but later expanded to include younger talent. The promotion closed after cancelling all future shows on April 22, 2014.

The Fifth Annual Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament, also known as the Crockett Cup, was a scheduled professional wrestling tag team tournament that was to be produced by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). The event was scheduled to take place on April 19, 2020, at the Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic before ultimately being canceled.
