Dennis Gorsline (born April 9, 1943) is an American former college football coach. He was the head football coach at the Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. He began his tenure in 1972 when he resurrected the program [1] after it had been shut down in 1937 and ended when he retired from full-time coaching in 2003. [2]

The Tampa Spartans football program was an intercollegiate American football team for the University of Tampa (UT) located in Tampa, Florida, that began play in 1933. The program competed against other small college programs in the forerunner of today's NCAA Division II for almost forty years before moving to the top level of NCAA Division I as an independent in 1971. Successfully competing against top college programs as a much smaller school put an enormous strain on the university's finances, and the school decided to discontinue football after the 1974 season.

David Lorenzo Shaw is an American football coach and the current senior personnel executive for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He served as head coach of the Stanford Cardinal football team from 2011 to 2022. Shaw was the team's offensive coordinator for the entire tenure of his predecessor, head coach Jim Harbaugh, from 2007 to 2010. Previously, Shaw was a four-year letter winner as a wide receiver for the Cardinal from 1991 to 1994, where he was coached by Dennis Green and Bill Walsh. Prior to returning to Stanford as offensive coordinator, Shaw was Harbaugh's passing game coordinator at the University of San Diego and an assistant coach in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles, Oakland Raiders, and Baltimore Ravens. Shaw resigned as the Stanford head coach on November 27, 2022.

Edsel K. Schweizer was an American football coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa from 1952 to 1977, compiling a record of 150–70–6.
