Arthur 'Pony' Halloway (1885–1961), was a pioneering Australian rugby league footballer and coach. Born in Sydney, New South Wales he played for the Glebe Dirty Reds (1908), Balmain Tigers and Eastern Suburbs (1912–1914), in the New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership. He played for New South Wales in the first rugby match run by the newly created 'New South Wales Rugby Football League' which had just split away from the established New South Wales Rugby Football Union.

David Fairleigh is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and current assistant coach for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League (NRL). An Australian international and New South Wales State of Origin representative forward, he played the majority of his club football in Australia for the North Sydney Bears, winning 1994's Rothmans Medal. Jim Porter is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s. An Australia national representative winger, he played his club football in the New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership with the Eastern Suburbs club and Parramatta. With the Australian team he won the 1975 World Cup, and he also made an appearance for NSW City in 1974.
Glyndwr Turner is a Welsh former rugby union footballer who played scrum-half position for Welsh club side Ebbw Vale RFC between 1966 and 1974 before turning professional to play rugby league in England. On turning professional, Turner signed for Hull Kingston Rovers in 1974 playing for them until 1978, before moving to rivals Hull FC in 1978 where he played until he was forced to retire in 1980 due to injury, as a centre or stand-off.
