Depth Affect

Depth Affect was a French music group, active from 2004 to 2012. Their style was influenced by hip-hop, electronica, and pop.

Originally a duo of David Bideau and Rémy Charrier, from Nantes, France, in 2004 they opened for Alias. The duo added DJ Kalmook (Frédéric Puren) et the VJ DeesK (Xavier Brunet) and produced Arche Lymb in 2006, with the Autres Directions in Music label. The album was well-received critically. [1] Afterwards the group performed at festivals and concerts in France along with rinôçérôse, Why?, dEUS, Coldcut, and Franz Ferdinand.

In 2008 the group released Hero Crisis which was considered more accessible, consistent and catchy than the first album. [2]

In 2010 the group made the EP Chorea. [3] Songs from the EP can be downloaded free from SoundCloud.

In 2010 and 2011 the group toured Belgium, England and Russia).

In 2011 the album Draft Battle was released. [4]

Depth Affect disbanded in August 2012. [5]

7L & Esoteric (7LES) are an underground hip hop duo from Boston, Massachusetts, known for battle rhymes and boom bap production. 7L is the duo's DJ/producer and Esoteric is the MC. 7L & Esoteric are both prominent members of underground hip-hop collectives Army of the Pharaohs and Demigodz, as well as being 2/3 of Czarface along with Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck.

Their debut single "Move Ya Body", released from their self-titled debut album in 2004, was a success, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100. Their second album, Nicole & Natalie, was released in July 2012. Their third studio album, Brightest Gold, was announced for 2016 release through Tommy Boy Entertainment.

Cassius was a French musical duo consisting of producers Philippe Cerboneschi and Hubert Blanc-Francard, better known as Zdar and Boombass. Under its different incarnations the duo is likened to the "French Touch" movement of electronic music in the second half of the 1990s.

Giovanni Marks, better known by his stage name Subtitle, is a rapper and producer based in Los Angeles, California. He is one half of the duo Lab Waste alongside Thavius Beck. He has also collaborated with other artists such as K-the-I???, Busdriver and Islands.

Esoteric (rapper) American rapper

Seamus Ryan, better known by his stage name Esoteric, is a Boston-based underground hip-hop artist. Esoteric is half of the hip hop duo 7L & Esoteric, a third of Czarface and is a member of underground hip-hop collectives Army of the Pharaohs and Demigodz. He started his solo career in 2007.

Mattafix were an English electronic duo, consisting of vocalist Marlon Roudette and producer & keyboardist Preetesh Hirji. Their sound was a fusion of hip hop, R&B, reggae, dancehall, blues, jazz, soul and world. Known for their 2005 hit single "Big City Life", they won the Sopot International Song Festival in 2006.

Jason Cullen Green, better known as Planet Asia, is a rapper from Fresno, California. He is prominent for being one half of the now reunited hip-hop duo the Cali Agents and is currently a member of the groups Gold Chain Military and Durag Dynasty. He is also well known for his vast discography of mixtapes.

Superbus is a five-piece French pop rock band formed in 1999 with Jenn Ayache on lead vocals. The band's name is from the Latin word superbus, meaning proud, which Ayache stumbled upon while browsing through a Latin dictionary. Demigodz American hip hop group

Demigodz are an American hip hop collective founded by Connecticut rappers Open Mic and Reflex. The group was originally named "The Nobility" but Open Mic renamed the group "The Demigodz" with inspiration from one of his own verses. The group has changed several times through the years. As of 2012, the group consists of; Apathy, Celph Titled, Ryu, Esoteric, Motive, & Blacastan.

Odezenne

Odezenne is a French band from Bordeaux. Their sound has been characterised as being notably eclectic. The band consists of Alix, Jacques, and Mattia who were childhood friends. The group has released three studio albums, one EP, and multiple music videos.
