The Voice of Germany is a German reality talent show to find new singing talent. The seventh season premiered on October 19, 2017 on ProSieben and Sat.1. Based on the reality singing competition The Voice of Holland, the series was created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. It is part of an international series. Haber, Catterfeld and Michi & Smudo as coaches of the previous season would return, while Mark Forster joined as a new coach on the show, replacing Andreas Bourani. Schölermann and Gercke as hosts of the previous season would return.

The second season of the German talent show The Voice Senior premiered on November 24, 2019 on Sat.1. The coaches were the duo Alec Völkel and Sascha Vollmer of the band The BossHoss, the singer and actress Yvonne Catterfeld, the singer Sasha Schmitz all returning for their second season and with the new coach singer Michael Patrick Kelly, replacing Mark Forster. Lena Gercke and Thore Schölermann returned for their second season as hosts.

The Masked Singer is a German reality singing competition television series that premiered on ProSieben on 27 June 2019. It is part of the Masked Singer franchise which began in South Korea and features celebrities singing songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks concealing their identities. The show is hosted by Matthias Opdenhövel, the program employs panelists who guess the celebrities' identities by interpreting clues provided to them throughout each season. Since the fourth season, Ruth Moschner is the main panelist. Other panelists from previous seasons include Collien Ulmen-Fernandes, Max Giesinger, Bülent Ceylan, Sonja Zietlow and Rea Garvey. The audience vote for their favorite singer after all perform. The least popular is eliminated, taking off their mask to reveal their identity.
