Derek Allen Macaulay, OMM , MSM , CD is a Canadian Forces officer serving as a lieutenant-general in the Canadian Army. [1]
Macaulay joined the Canadian Forces as part of the Officer Candidate Training Program in 1989 and was commissioned as an armoured officer in the Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians). [1] He served as chief of staff of the Combined Joint Forces Land Component Command Iraq from April 2015 to March 2016, [2] and then became commander of 5th Canadian Division in May 2017. [3] Macaulay was awarded a Meritorious Service Decoration following his tenure in Iraq in 2015/16. [2] He was appointed the deputy commander of the Canadian Army on July 5, 2019, [1] and was acting commander of the Canadian Army and chief of the Army Staff after Wayne Eyre was designated as acting chief of the Defense Staff from 24 February 2021 to 19 April 2021. [1] Major General Michel-Henri St-Louis succeeded him in the role. [4]
Macaulay has served as deputy commander of United Nations Command since December 2023. [5] He is the second Canadian general to serve deputy commander of the United Nations Command. [6]
Lieutenant General Eedson Louis Millard "Tommy" Burns, was a senior officer of the Canadian Army and a diplomat. He saw active service in both World War I and World War II. He served as the first commander of the first United Nations peacekeeping force in 1956. His military career in war has, for the most part, been criticised by some historians as showing he was "simply incapable of commanding a higher formation."

Robert Bruce Abrams is a retired four-star general in the United States Army who last served as the commander of United States Forces Korea. He concurrently served as the commander of United Nations Command and commander of R.O.K.-U.S. Combined Forces Command. He previously served as the 22nd commanding general of United States Army Forces Command from August 10, 2015 to October 17, 2018. He was a 1982 graduate of the United States Military Academy where he was commissioned as an armor officer. During his years of active service, he has held command and staff positions across the Army and joint community in Germany, the United States, Southwest Asia and South Korea. Abrams comes from a family of career military officers. His father was former Army Chief of Staff General Creighton W. Abrams Jr., and both of his elder brothers, Creighton and John, were Army general officers.
John Ember "Jack" Sterling Jr. is a retired United States Army lieutenant general. He served as Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff for United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) from 2010 to 2012, and was acting commander in 2011. He retired in June 2012.

Vice Admiral Stuart Campbell Mayer, is a retired senior officer of the Royal Australian Navy. He joined the navy via the Royal Australian Naval College at HMAS Creswell in 1984 and qualified as a Principal Warfare Officer in 1994. John Michael “Mike” Murray is a United States Army general, the first commanding general of United States Army Futures Command (AFC), a new four-star Army Command (ACOM) headquartered in Austin, Texas. Murray was previously the G-8, a deputy chief of staff to the Chief of Staff of the United States Army (CSA). As G-8, Murray served as the principal advisor to the CSA for materiel requirements, as military counterpart to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics, and technology.
