Derrick Tribbett (born December 18, 1984), better known by his stage names Tripp Lee and Sinister, is an American musician and songwriter who is the lead vocalist of heavy metal band Twisted Method. He is the younger brother of Audiotopsy and Mudvayne lead guitarist Greg Tribbett. He is also known for his role on the reality show Daisy of Love starring former Rock of Love 2 contestant Daisy De La Hoya.

Career

Tribbett was a member of the band Twisted Method [1] until it disbanded in 2005 and formed the band Makeshift-Romeo shortly after. [2] He was the bassist and backing vocalist for the band Dope. [3] [4] Tribbet formed a new band Bullet Saints and released a one and only single “Hell Bound” in 2013.

Media appearances

Tribbett was a contestant on the VH1 show Daisy of Love . He went under the alias "Sinister" on the show. [5] [6] He was eliminated on the July 12, 2009 episode, the tenth episode in the twelve episode series (not counting the clip show). He placed fourth overall.

Tribbett would have been a contestant on the third season of the VH1 show I Love Money which takes contestants from other VH1 shows such as Flavor of Love , Rock of Love , I Love New York , Real Chance of Love , Daisy of Love and Megan Wants a Millionaire , and to be aired in January 2010. However, the show was canceled before airing because of Ryan Jenkins' involvement in the murder of his wife and suicide.

Personal life

Tribbett is the younger brother of Greg Tribbett, the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of heavy metal bands Audiotopsy and Mudvayne and former member of Hellyeah. One of his other brothers Matt Tribbett was a drum technician for the American metal band Slipknot.Another brother Dustin Tribbett aka Diggz, musician, technician and writer,former member of (Elememt), (Off The Chain) and a few others.

Twisted Method was an American nu metal band. It was formed in 1998 in Cape Coral, Florida, by Mariner High School students Derrick "Tripp" Tribbett, Ben Goins, Andrew Howard and Derek DeSantis. For the latter part of their existence, the band was based in Fort Myers, Florida.

Matthew McDonough is an American drummer best known as a member of the heavy metal band Mudvayne. He is the band's original drummer and has appeared and performed on every release by Mudvayne. He was also the original drummer of Audiotopsy since 2015 until his departure in 2021. He holds a respected place in the world of drumming for his signature drumming style.

The idea to form a supergroup originated in 2000 on the Tattoo the Earth tour, although plans were constantly put on hold due to scheduling conflicts. By the People, for the People is a compilation album by American heavy metal band Mudvayne. It was released on November 27, 2007 by Epic Records. The album features a track listing chosen entirely by the band's fans, with the band determining which version appears on the record, as well as two new songs, "Dull Boy" and a cover of The Police's song "King of Pain". If the album was pre-ordered through the Sony Music Store, it was packaged with a free lithograph of the lyrics to "Dull Boy", signed and numbered by Mudvayne vocalist Chad Gray. If it was ordered after the disc was released, the lithograph was shipped approximately three weeks later and was neither signed nor numbered.
