Mecano was a Spanish pop band formed in 1981 and active until 1992. Mecano became one of the most successful Spanish pop bands of all time. The band is still the best-selling Spanish band to this date, reaching over 25 million albums worldwide. They were considered by some to be avant-garde for their time and part of la Movida Madrileña countercultural movement. They had a brief comeback in 1998.

Canción Animal is the fifth album released by the Argentine rock band Soda Stereo, released in August 1990. Many of the songs on the album are among the band's most popular, such as one of their biggest hits "De Música Ligera", the last song played in Soda Stereo's last concert in 1997, "Hombre al agua", "Un Millón de Años Luz", "Te para tres" and others. It is considered one of the best and most influential albums in the history of Latin American rock music. For many people, it's regarded as the best album to ever come out of South America. In 2007, the Argentine edition of Rolling Stone ranked it 9 on its list of "The 100 Greatest Albums of National Rock".
La Quinta Estación was a Spanish pop/rock band composed of two musicians from Madrid: Natalia Jiménez and Ángel Reyero (guitar). Pablo Domínguez (2001–2008) was the third member until his recent split. The band originated in Madrid with six members but the remaining three relocated to Mexico in 2001 after recording their first album Primera toma.
Pereza was a Spanish rock group from Alameda de Osuna (Madrid) comprising Rubén Pozo Prats and José Miguel Conejo Torres, artistically known as Rubén and Leiva. They have recorded six albums Pereza, Algo para cantar, Animales (Animals), Los amigos de los animales, Aproximaciones (Approximations) released in the summer of 2007, Aviones (Aeroplanes), released in August 2009, and a last compilation that includes two previously unreleased discs: “Mama Quiero Ser una Estrella del Rock'n’Roll” and “Baires”, recorded and mixed in Argentina. The group has also released two DVDs. The first was called Algo para encantar and it contains videos from their previous album Algo para cantar and some live tracks. The second DVD is called Barcelona, which is a recording of a live concert in that city along with a CD called Rarezas (Rarities), which contains previously unreleased tracks from the band’s early days.

Mi Delirio is the fifth studio album by Mexican singer Anahí, released on November 24, 2009, through EMI and Capitol Records. It was her first solo album in nine years and after the disbandment of Mexican pop group RBD, which she was a member of for five years. Musically, it is inspired by electronic music, dance, rock, pop and electropop. The album was released simultaneously in Mexico, Spain, Costa Rica, United States, Argentina and Colombia. The singer announced the project after the debut of the first single of the same name "Mi Delirio". Anahí served as composer of select songs on the album and was also involved in art direction and design. She worked along with producers such as Gil Cerezo, Ulises Lozano, Armando Avila and Sebastian Jácome which she had worked with during her time with RBD. The album includes a cover of Mexican singer Amanda Miguel's hit "El Me Mintío", as well as an answer song to Juan Gabriel's "Hasta que te Conocí" titled "Hasta que me Conociste".

The duo split and Robles began a solo career, acting in "Barrio Cuatro Calles" and "Generaciones", along Puerto-Rican performer Chayanne. She also performed in some musical productions, including Hello, Dolly! and The Fantasticks.

It was released by Sony Music on May 31, 2011, after a three-year gap since the release of De Vita's last studio album. De Vita worked as producer with David Cabrera. Ignacio Cano Andrés, aka Nacho Cano, is a Spanish arranger, composer, musician and record producer. He and his brother showed an interest in music in their young lives. At 5, he began to play the Spanish guitar and at 12 he started his first band called "Prisma", with Toti Arboles and Eduardo Benavente, both of whom would later make up the core of the sociocultural movement that took place in Spain after Franco's death, known as the "Movida Madrileña". After playing in several different bands in his early teens, Nacho formed Mecano with his brother Jose and his brother's friend Ana Torroja. At 16, Nacho wrote "Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar". Mecano signed their first record deal with CBS, when Nacho was 17 years old. This first album smashed all sales records in Spain, selling 1,000,000 copies in three months.
Hasta la Raíz is the sixth studio album by Mexican recording artist Natalia Lafourcade. It was released on March 17, 2015, by Sony Music Latin. After the success of her previous album, Mujer Divina, a tribute to Mexican singer-songwriter Agustín Lara, Lafourcade decided to record an album with original recordings. Lafourcade spent three years writing the songs and searching for inspiration in different cities, resulting in songs that express very personal feelings regarding love. The record was produced by Lafourcade, with the assistance of Argentinian musician Cachorro López and Mexican artist Leonel García.
