The Deseronto Bulldogs were a Senior "AAA" ice hockey team based out of Deseronto, Ontario. They played in the Ontario Hockey Association's Eastern Ontario Senior Hockey League.

Howard Dennis McNamara was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He played professionally from 1908 to 1920, including two seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, including the 1916 Stanley Cup champions. McNamara is the younger brother of Harold and George, who also played professionally.

The team was originally known as the Elliot Lake Bobcats in Elliot Lake, Ontario, until the 2014–15 season; where they moved to Cochrane, Ontario as the Cochrane Crunch until their move to Iroquois Falls in 2023. The Storm are the third NOJHL franchise to be located in Iroquois Falls after the Iroquois Falls Jr. Eskis/Abitibi Eskimos (1999-2015) and Iroquois Falls Eskis (2015-17).
Thomas Bernard "Windy" O'Neill was a Canadian professional ice hockey player who played 66 games in the National Hockey League with the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 1943–44 and 1944–45 seasons. He won the Stanley Cup with Toronto in 1945. O'Neill was born in Deseronto, Ontario.

He led his people to Upper Canada after the war, settling on land granted by the Crown at the Bay of Quinte in present-day Ontario. This reserve, initially settled primarily by Mohawk loyalists from the Lower Castle, is known as Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, Ontario. Deseronto, Ontario is named for him.

The Bay of Quinte Railway was a short-line railway in eastern Ontario, Canada. It was formed as the Napanee, Tamworth and Quebec Railway (NT&QR), chartered in 1878 by Edward Rathbun and Alexander Campbell, with plans to run from Napanee through Renfrew County and on to the Ottawa Valley. Lacking funding from the governments, development never began.
