Desmond John Anderson (born 17 October 1968) is a former first-class cricketer who played for Oxford University. [1] His highest score of 9 came in the match against Hampshire. [2] His best bowling of 2/68 came in the match against Worcestershire. [3]
Reginald Erskine Foster,nicknamed Tip Foster,commonly designated R. E. Foster in sporting literature,was an English first-class cricketer and footballer. He is the only man to have captained England at both sports.

William Beaumont Burns was an English cricketer who played more than 200 first-class matches in the early 20th century,the great bulk of them for Worcestershire,for whom he filled in as captain on a number of occasions when the usual incumbents were not available. Burns' obituary in Wisden described him as a "dashing,hard-hitting batsman" but added that his bowling –which he scarcely pursued until the middle of his career –had to be considered suspect:"the fairness of his delivery was often questioned –and not without good reason".
John Alexander Cuffe was an Australian-born English first-class cricketer who played more than 200 times for Worcestershire between 1903 and 1914,having previously made a single appearance for New South Wales. After retiring from county cricket,he stood as an umpire for three years in the 1920s. He also played at least once as a professional for Lowerhouse in the Lancashire League. It was wrongly thought until 2019 that Cuffe was also a footballer and played ten seasons for Glossop North End in the Football League Second Division. The footballer was a different John Cuffe,born in Glossop.

Thomas Winter Sheppard was an English first-class cricketer in the early twentieth century. He made only two first-class appearances,one for each of Hampshire and Worcestershire.
Philip John Whitcombe is a former English first-class cricketer who played 34 matches between 1949 and 1953. 26 of these were for Oxford University,and eight for Worcestershire. He was a wicket-keeper,though he did play in some games as a batsman only.
Walter Herbert Livsey was an English first-class cricketer for Hampshire from 1913 until 1929. A wicket-keeper,Livsey played 320 matches and was considered one of the greatest keepers of the 1920s with 649 dismissals. He was also a tidy keeper,allowing only three byes during Oxford's 554–run innings in his first match. For this success he became Hampshire's regular keeper,and performed a noted stumping of Jack Hobbs in 1914. He fought during World War I,and was demobilised for the 1920 season. He continued at Hampshire until 1929,when his health forced him into retirement.
