Devin Eatmon

Devin Eatmon is an American operatic tenor, and winner of a Harold S. Schwartz Music Scholarship. Eatmon grew up in The Villages, Florida, and sang with The Opera Club of the Villages and the Central Florida Lyric Opera. His summer performances included Opera in the Ozarks (2015) and Aspen Music Festival (2018 and 2019). He studied vocal performance at Florida State University, where he completed his bachelor's and master's degrees, and acted as a graduate teaching assistant. Selected as one of Opera Colorado's 2020-21 Artists in Residence, he will be performing several productions, once the season (delayed by COVID-19) is underway. [1] [2] [3]

Career

Eatmon has appeared often with The Central Florida Lyric Opera, to include solos in a number of performances, and a number of full operas to include La Traviata. While at Florida State University, he had a number of local appearances in the Tallahassee area. [4] He has been selected as one of the 2020 Apprentice Singers by Santa Fe Opera [5] He has also appeared in a number of concerts put on by Fernando Varela's Victory Productions, including as part of the group Four Divo. In 2020, Eatmon joined Tenor Fernando Varela and Baritone Craig Irvin to form The Serenad3. Their first album, Christmas Serenade was released as an EP in late November. [9] The trio appeared as "The Christmas Tenors" to wrap up the Open Air Concert Series put on by Varela's Victory Productions at The Villages Polo Fields. They also were featured in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Front Yard Festival, also an open air series on the grounds of the Orlando Dr. Phillips Center. [10] [11] [12]

John Harger Stewart is an American tenor, conductor, and voice teacher who had an active international singing career in concerts and operas from 1964 to 1990. He began his career singing regularly with the Santa Fe Opera from the mid-1960s through the early 1970s; after which he appeared only periodically in Santa Fe up through the mid-1980s. He was particularly active with the New York City Opera during the 1970s and 1980s, and with the Frankfurt Opera from the mid-1970s through 1990. He also appeared as a guest artist with several other important American opera companies, including the Metropolitan Opera and the Washington National Opera, and at other European opera houses like the De Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Grand Théâtre de Genève in Switzerland, and the Wexford Festival Opera in Ireland. Now retired from singing, he is currently the Director of Vocal Activities at Washington University in St. Louis where he also teaches singing and conducts student opera productions and choirs. Forte is a classical crossover–operatic pop trio comprising tenors Josh Page, Sean Panikkar and Hana Ryu. Forte was created specifically for season eight of America's Got Talent (AGT) in 2013. After weeks of preparation online, the three original members met in person just two days before their first performance together; afterward, the show's rules forced the group to make a personnel change. The new lineup advanced to the final round in September, where Forte finished in fourth place. Following their elimination, the men accepted a recording contract offered by representatives of Columbia Records, who were waiting for them in the hallway offstage.

In 2017, Varela debuted his PBS special "Fernando Varela: Coming Home", performed at the Grammy Museum Gala honoring David Foster, and joined Sarah Brightman on the Royal Christmas Gala tour November - December, 2017. From 2018 into 2020, Varela has toured extensively with David Foster, and has participated in several charitable events.

Brian Jagde is an American operatic tenor. He has performed roles at leading opera houses throughout the world, including the San Francisco Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera House, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston Grand Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Wiener Staatsoper, Teatro Massimo, and the Teatro di San Carlo.

Sonido Tré is a latin music trio comprising vocalists Mayda Belén Rivera and Edgar Ríos, and Quique Domenech on Cuatro. All three members were born in Puerto Rico. Domenech studied the cuatro from the age of six. At 11 he entered a five-year program at the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture studying the cuatro and music theory. He has been nominated twice for a Latin Grammy. Rivera was a semifinalist on Latin American Idol. The newest member of Sonido Tré is Edgar Ríos. Ríos was a member of the a cappella group Nota, winners of the NBC show The Sing-Off.

Craig Irvin is an American operatic baritone. Irvin did his undergraduate study at the Simpson College, in Indianola Iowa, before completing his graduate work at The University of Tennessee. During his graduate studies, he performed with the Knoxville Opera as Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia and as a soloist in Verdi’s Requiem with the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in many leading opera houses both nationally and internationally, including premiering the role of Lieutenant Horstmayer in Kevin Puts and Minnesota Opera’s acclaimed and Pulitzer Prize winning Silent Night “I’ve had the new-opera experience that no one gets” Irvin is quoted to say by Opera News, in singing the same role multiple times.

The Serenad3 is a classical crossover–operatic pop trio consisting of Classical Crossover artist Fernando Varela, operatic baritone Craig Irvin, and operatic tenor Devin Eatmon.
