Dharma Records is a British independent record label. Dharma Records was established in 2002 to run alongside its sister company Instant Karma. Dharma's first release was the top 5 hit single, "Mundian To Bach Ke", by Bhangra artist Panjabi MC.
Dharma Records' artists include the Mercury-Prize-nominated Helicopter Girl, electronic acts I Monster (from Sheffield, best known for hit single Daydream in Blue) and Eberg (from Iceland) both of whose work has featured in many hit films, TV shows and TV ads, including the opening theme of Shaun of the Dead and the TV ad which launched the iPhone in the US, plus modern classical artists such as Ghostland, Caroline Dale, Donna McKevitt and OperaBabes.
Other artists include Amy Belle and the singer-songwriter, Alexander Wolfe, from London whose debut album Morning Brings A Flood garnered significant critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic following its release in 2009. The follow-up album by Wolfe, Skeletons, was released in 2012. In 2011, Dharma released BBC Young Folk Award winner Megan Henwood's debut album Making Waves. Her second album, Head Heart Hand, was released on Dharma in July 2015. Subsequent signings include Sheffield's one-off dreampop project Blossomer, whose debut self-titled album was released in 2016, South East London collective GentleFolk plus their spin-off ensemble Cunning Folk whose album Ritual Land, Uncommon Ground, was released in March 2017, and more recently Essex-based singer songwriter Kevin Pearce, whose first album for Dharma, So On, was released in December 2017.
The third album by Megan Henwood was released to widespread critical acclaim [1] [2] in October 2017 ahead of a sold-out UK tour.

Róisín Marie Murphy is an Irish singer, songwriter, and record producer. She first became known in the 1990s as one half of the pop duo Moloko alongside English musician Mark Brydon. After the breakup of Moloko, she embarked on a solo career and released her debut solo album Ruby Blue to critical praise in 2005. Her second solo album, Overpowered, was released in 2007.
Matthew Stephen Ward is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Portland, Oregon. Ward's solo work is a mixture of folk and blues-inspired Americana analog recordings; he has released ten studio albums since 1999, primarily through independent label Merge Records. In addition to his solo work, he is a member of indie pop duo She & Him and folk-rock supergroup Monsters of Folk, and also participates in recording, producing, and playing with multiple other artists.
Sunshine Superman is the third album from British singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released in the United States on August 26, 1966, but was not released in the UK because of a contractual dispute. In June 1967, a compilation of tracks from this album and the follow-up Mellow Yellow was released as Sunshine Superman in the UK. Sunshine Superman was named after Donovan's hit single released in the US in July 1966. The album was Donovan's most successful, peaking at number eleven in the US and remaining on the Billboard Top LPs chart for six months. The tracks from Sunshine Superman and Mellow Yellow were not mixed into stereo, with the exception of "Season of the Witch", until the 2011 2-CD deluxe edition issued by UK EMI.
I Monster are an English electronic music duo, composed of the Sheffield based record producers Dean Honer and Jarrod Gosling.
Show of Hands is an English acoustic roots/folk duo formed in 1986 by singer-songwriter Steve Knightley and composer and multi-instrumentalist Phil Beer. Joined by singer and double-bassist Miranda Sykes for a tour in 2004, Show of Hands continued to regularly perform as a trio with Sykes, as well as in their original format.
