Her debut studio album, Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders' First Lady (1999) peaked atop the Billboard 200, received double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and spawned the hit singles "What Ya Want", "Love Is Blind", and "Gotta Man". That same year, she guest featured on the Roots' Grammy Award-winning single "You Got Me", as well as Missy Elliott's single "Hot Boyz", both of which peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
Katrina Laverne Taylor, known professionally as Trina, is an American rapper. She rose to prominence in the late 1990s for her collaborations with Trick Daddy on the singles "Nann Nigga", "Shut Up", and "Take It to da House". In 2000, she released her debut album Da Baddest Bitch. Afterwards, she made an appearance on the remix of "One Minute Man" by Missy Elliott and Ludacris. In 2002, she released the Kanye West-produced single "B R Right" featuring Ludacris, from her sophomore album Diamond Princess (2002).
Joseph Guillermo Jones II, better known by his stage name Jim Jones, is an American rapper and record executive. He is a founding member of the hip hop collective the Diplomats, which he formed in 1997 with fellow Harlem native Cam'ron.
Crime Mob is an American hip hop group from Atlanta consisting of six members: M.I.G., Cyco Black, Princess, Lil' Jay, Diamond, and Killa C. The group is best known for their songs "Knuck If You Buck" and "Rock Yo Hips". After an arrest in 2003, member Killa C left the group. Crime Mob reunited and performed at Atlanta's Hot 107.9's Birthday Bash in 2012; Princess was the only absent member. In 2018, all members of Crime Mob were reunited by Atlanta based producer Mike Will Made It on a song called "We Can Hit" featuring Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd. The song is featured on the Creed II movie soundtrack.

Production was handled by Crime Mob member Lil' Jay. The single peaked at number 30 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

It was recorded at PatchWerk Recording Studios in Atlanta and released on June 29, 2004 via Reprise Records as the first single from their eponymous debut studio album Crime Mob (2004). Written by members Jarques "M.I.G." Usher, Chris "Killa C" Henderson, Jonathan "Lil' Jay" Lewis, Venetia "Princess" Lewis and Brittany "Diamond" Carpentero, it was produced by Lil' Jay, and features fellow rapper Lil Scrappy.

The discography of American rapper Trina consists of six studio albums, four EPs, eleven mixtapes and 23 singles. Her debut album, Da Baddest Bitch, was released on March 21, 2000. It reached the top forty in the United States and debuted at eleven on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. By November 2000, the album had sold 700,000 and was certified Gold by the RIAA. The album also featured the singles "Da Baddest Bitch" and "Pull Over".

After signing with music producer 9th Wonder's music label It's a Wonderful World Music Group, she released a series of mixtapes and collaborated with Erykah Badu and Talib Kweli. Soon afterwards Rapsody released her debut album The Idea of Beautiful (2012). She would attain further prominence when she was featured on Kendrick Lamar's 2015 album To Pimp a Butterfly, on the track "Complexion ".
"Dope Bitch" is a song by American singer-songwriter and record producer The-Dream, featuring American rapper Pusha T. The song was released as a single for digital download in the United States on July 24, 2012. The song is included on The-Dream's EP Climax, which was ultimately a bonus CD on his fourth studio album IV Play (2013).
Brianna Perry, also known as Lil' Brianna, is an American rapper and actress from Miami-Dade County, Florida. She was the youngest act signed to Missy Elliott's label The Goldmind Inc. Perry made her debut on Trina's album Diamond Princess (2002) on the track "Kandi". Since then, she has released several mixtapes and starred as a regular cast-member on the reality-television series Sisterhood of Hip Hop. In 2016, Brianna left major label Atlantic Records due to low promotion and moved forward with her indie label Poe Boy Entertainment.
"Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" edited for radio as "Trick, Don't Kill My Vibe" or simply "Don't Kill My Vibe", is a song by American rapper Kendrick Lamar, from his major-label debut studio album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (2012). The song, produced by frequent collaborator Sounwave of Top Dawg Entertainment in-house production team Digi+Phonics, heavily samples "Tiden Flyver", by Danish electronic group Boom Clap Bachelors. It was originally intended to be a collaboration with American singer Lady Gaga, but her contributions were ultimately excluded from the final recording due to timing issues. A remix of "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" featuring American rapper Jay-Z was sent to radio as the album's fifth single on March 21, 2013, with the original version and another remix featuring British singer Emeli Sandé later being released.
Tiffany Parham, known professionally as Tiffany Foxx, is an American rapper. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Foxx first gained recognition in 2005 after appearing on Snoop Dogg's compilation album Welcome to tha Chuuch: Da Album. In 2010, she formed a hip-hop group "June 5th". They released the mixtape HERstory before Foxx decided to pursue a solo career.
Tariq Amar Devega, known professionally as ASAP Nast, is an American rapper, songwriter and model from Harlem, New York. Nast is best known as a member of the hip hop collective A$AP Mob. As part of A$AP Mob, they released their first project as a group, a mixtape titled Lord$ Never Worry in 2012. His breakout song, "Trillmatic" featuring Wu-Tang Clan's Method Man was released on December 4, 2013.
Sisterhood of Hip Hop is an American reality television series on Oxygen starring five female rappers who "navigate their way through the male-dominated music industry". The show is executive produced by rapper T.I. and premiered on August 12, 2014.
"Do It Like Me" is the debut single by American rapper DLOW. The song samples the instrumental of "Knuck If You Buck" by Crime Mob and the hook from "Betcha Can't Do It Like Me" by D4L It reached number 45 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
