Diamondback Airboats is an airboat manufacturer in Cocoa, Florida. The company was established in 1989. Diamondback assembled engines for the world's largest airboat in 1994 for use on the Congo River and shipped more than 24 twin engine airboats to Russia for oil exploration in the Caspian Sea. [1] Their airboats are used by a guide service in the Everglades [2] as well as by a guide service on Lake Erie. [3]

Some of their boats have custom graphics. [4] Noise complaints have been an issue for the company and industry. [5]

Limit Up is the title of a 1989 comedy film starring Nancy Allen as Chicago commodities trader Casey Falls. The film was directed by Richard Martini and produced by Jonathan D. Krane. It was filmed through Chicago and prominently features scenes at the Chicago Board of Trade and Wrigley Field.

Emil Russell Guerra was a Republican politician and a former member of the Ohio House of Representatives. A native of Dayton, Ohio and graduate of Fairview High School, Guerra served in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart for his service. Subsequently, in the Dayton Police Department. He would ultimately work his way up to the rank of captain, and retired from the force after over twenty five years. He also served for a time as an air scout for local news stations. In the late 1960s, Guerra faced a near fatal gunshot wound, but recovered to return to the police force. In the 1970s, Guerra made his first entrance into politics by running and winning the election for Randolph Township Trustee. He served in this position from 1975-1980.

Joseph Milton Brown was a professional baseball player. A third baseman, he spent his career in minor league baseball from 1924 to 1937. He spent the majority of his career in the International League.
