Dibina is a town in north-eastern Ethiopia, located in Administrative Zone 4 of the Afar Region. This may be the "Debene" W.C. Harris mentions, a small village he passed through in mid-June 1841 on his diplomatic mission to Shewa. [1]
Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, Dibina has an estimated total population of 1,370, of whom 717 are men and 653 are women. [2] The 1994 census reported this town had a total population of 937 of whom 459 were men and 478 were women. It is the largest town in Yalo woreda.

Research by Ulrich Braukämper uncovered a local tradition that traced the origins of this woreda's name to an ancient Ethiopian province, Sharkha, which vanished as a political unit in the 16th century. Sendafa is a town and separate woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. Its name is taken from the Oromo name for a kind of thick, jointed grass or reed which grows in swampy areas. Located in the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne of the Oromia Region, Sendafa has a latitude and longitude of 9°09′N39°02′E with an elevation of 2514 meters above sea level. The town lies on the paved Addis Ababa - Adigrat highway, some 38 kilometers north of the capital.
Kemise is a town and administrative seat of the Oromia Zone in the Amhara Region, Ethiopia. Kemise is 224 kilometres (139 mi) northeast of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa and has a latitude and longitude of 10°43′N39°52′E with an elevation of 1424 meters above sea level. It was part of the former Chaffa Gola Dewerahmedo district and is now surrounded by the Dawa Chaffa district.
