Dick Halterman (born April 28, 1947) is a former American collegiate women's basketball coach. He is best known as the head coach of the Oklahoma State Cowgirls basketball program from 1983 to 2001. In 19 seasons as head coach, he posted a 350-244 (.589) record. [1] [2] After his tenure at Oklahoma State, he served as the head coach for the Cameron Aggies women's basketball program [3] from 2002 to 2006.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys and Cowgirls are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Oklahoma State University, located in Stillwater. The program's mascot is a cowboy named Pistol Pete. Oklahoma State participates at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)'s Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) as a member of the Big 12 Conference. The university's current athletic director is Chad Weiberg, who replaced the retiring Mike Holder on July 1, 2021. Oklahoma State has won 55 national titles, including 53 NCAA team national titles, which ranks sixth in most NCAA team national championships. These national titles have come in wrestling (34), golf (11), basketball (2), baseball (1), and cross country (5). Oklahoma State has also won non-NCAA national titles in football (1) and equestrian (1).

Norman High School is a four-year public high school in Norman, Oklahoma, with a steady enrollment of approximately 2,000 students. It is accredited by North Central Association, the Oklahoma State Department of Education and the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association. The school year consists of two 15-week semesters with a 6 class flexible schedule, consisting of 52 minute periods. Norman High School is part of the Norman Independent School District No. 29 of Cleveland County, Oklahoma, more commonly known as Norman Public Schools (NPS). Norman High was ranked as one of the top 1,400 high schools in the United States in 2009.
Tim Siegel is a former professional tennis player and collegiate tennis coach. Siegel is currently the head coach of the Lubbock-Cooper Independent School District High School tennis team and previously served as head coach of the SMU Mustangs women's tennis team, Texas Tech Red Raiders men's tennis team and Texas Tech Red Raiders women's tennis team.
Kurt John Budke was an American college basketball coach. Budke was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015. His final coaching job was as the head coach for the Oklahoma State Cowgirls basketball women's team from 2005 until his death in an aviation accident.
Lilburn Ray Harper Jr. is an American college basketball coach, currently head coach for Jacksonville State University. Previously, he was head coach at Oklahoma City University, Kentucky Wesleyan College, and Western Kentucky University. At Kentucky Wesleyan Harper compiled a 242–45 win–loss record.
Pete Herrmann is an American retired basketball coach. He served as the head basketball coach at the United States Naval Academy from 1986 to 1992 and Young Harris College from 2010 to 2018. He was also the interim head men's basketball coach at the University of Georgia for the final 12 games of the 2008–09 season following the firing of Dennis Felton. Herrmann restarted the basketball program at Young Harris in 2010–11 after a 40-year hiatus. At Navy he coached future National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star and Olympian David Robinson.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys basketball team represents Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. All women's teams at the school are known as Cowgirls. The Cowboys currently compete in the Big 12 Conference. In 2020, CBS Sports ranked Oklahoma State the 25th best college basketball program of all-time, ahead of such programs as Oklahoma and Texas. Oklahoma State men’s basketball has a very rich history of success, having won more national titles and advanced to the NCAA Championship, Final Four, Elite Eight and Sweet Sixteen more times than any Big 12 program other than Kansas. Oklahoma State has won a combined 23 regular season conference titles and conference tournament titles, which is the most of any program in the state of Oklahoma.

The Cowgirls, a member of the Big 12 Conference, advanced to the NCAA tournament, losing in the second round to Georgia.

Clarence Eugene Iba is a former American college basketball coach. He was previously the Pittsburg State Gorillas men's basketball coach until 2010. He was head coach at Houston Baptist from 1977 to 1985, Baylor from 1985 to 1992, and Pittsburg State from 1995 to 2010. He is the son of college basketball coach Clarence Iba and nephew of college basketball coach Hank Iba.

The Wyoming Cowgirls basketball team is a women's college basketball team at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. Competing in the Mountain West Conference, the organization has a tradition dating back to 1973.

It will be head coach Jim Littell's third season at Oklahoma State. The Cowgirls, were members of the Big 12 Conference and will play their home games at the Gallagher-Iba Arena. They finished the season with a 25–9 overall, 11–7 in Big 12 play for a tie to finish in third place. They lost in the semifinals in the 2014 Big 12 Conference women's basketball tournament to Baylor. They were invited to the 2014 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament which they defeated Florida Gulf Coast in the first round, Purdue in the second round before losing to Notre Dame in the sweet sixteen.

The Cowgirls were members of the Big 12 Conference and will play their home games at the Gallagher-Iba Arena. They finished the season 20–12, 9–9 in Big 12 play for a four way tie to finish in third place. They advanced to the semifinals of the Big 12 women's tournament where they lost to Baylor. They received at-large bid of the NCAA women's basketball tournament where they lost in the first round to Florida Gulf Coast.

The Cowgirls, led by seventh year head coach Jim Littell, played their home games at Gallagher-Iba Arena and were members of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season 21–11, 11–7 in Big 12 play to finish in a tie for third place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 women's tournament to West Virginia. They received an at-large bid of the NCAA women's basketball tournament where they defeated Syracuse in the first round before losing to Mississippi State in the second round.
