Die Verboten is a Belgian krautrock-influenced band formed by David and Stephen Dewaele of Soulwax. The project, which also includes English-born electro artist Riton and his brother-in-law the artist and designer Fergadelic was announced in late 2006 in Belgian weekly magazine HUMO.
In an interview with Resident Advisor in April 2007, Riton said he was close to finishing the Die Verboten EP with the Dewaele brothers. [1]
On Tuesday 19 May 2009, FACT magazine announced details of the first DIE VERBOTEN release 'Live in Eivissa'- an 18-minute recording on 12" vinyl with 3D pyramid artwork. [2]
In an interview with Resident Advisor, David and Fergadelic talk about the future of Die Verboten. David:"You can expect the next release to be a DVD (DieVerbotenDisc) which will include everything we have recorded until now - two albums worth of material".
This album / DVD was supposed to drop in 2009. [3]

Soulwax are a Belgian electronic band and DJ/production collective from Ghent, who formed in 1995. Centred around brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, other current members include Igor and Laima Cavalera, and Stefaan Van Leuven. The group first rose to prominence following the release of their album Much Against Everyone's Advice, and have released five studio albums to date. Outside of Soulwax, the Dewaeles also perform DJ sets under the moniker 2manydjs.

As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2 is the first album to be released by Soulwax members David and Stephen Dewaele also known as 2ManyDJs. It consists of 45 remixed tracks by a series of diverse artists including Dolly Parton, Basement Jaxx and 10cc. While some of the tracks are conventional remixes, most tracks are mashup collages with the vocals of one song placed over the instrumental part of another. The sampled material was extensively cleared for commercial release; as a result, only 114 elements appear out of the 187 recordings that 2ManyDJs initially wished to use. The artwork of the album was also altered following lawsuit threats from the photographer of the original images.
Nite Versions is a remix album by Soulwax, released on 26 September 2005 through PIAS. The album comprises remixes of songs from their third studio album, Any Minute Now.

James Nicholas Righton is a British musician. As well as singing, he was the keyboard-player of the London-based new rave band Klaxons, which disbanded in 2015. In March 2016, Righton announced his new project Shock Machine with a video directed by Saam Farahmand. Righton released his first solo album The Performer on Soulwax's Deewee label in March 2020.
This Is Radio Soulwax is a DJ mix album which was compiled and mixed by Belgian electronic band Soulwax, released in February 2006 as a covermount CD in that month's issue of Mixmag magazine in the United Kingdom. It also features a song by Jackson & His Computer Band, who became known later in the year for their song "Utopia" being featured in an advertisement for O2.
Jam Rahuoja Rostron, better known by their stage name Planningtorock, is an English electronic musician and record producer who lives in Tallinn, Estonia. Rostron identifies as transgender and non-binary, and uses they/them pronouns.

Bent Van Looy is a Belgian-Flemish musician, singer and songwriter. He has been the frontman and singer for Das Pop, the Belgian band he founded in Ghent in 1994 together with schoolfriends Reinhard Vanbergen, Niek Meul and Lieven Moors. He was also the drummer of Soulwax, a project of the Dewaele brothers. Van Looy recorded solo albums, presented on TV and radio, and is a painter.
From Deewee is the fourth studio album by Belgian electronic music duo Soulwax, released on 24 March 2017. With a length of 48 minutes, the album was recorded in one take by the Dewaele brothers along with three drummers. Besides the normal members of Soulwax, there is Laima Leyton on keys, Igor Cavalera, Blake Davies and Victoria Smith on drums. The first single from the album was "Transient Program for Drums and Machinery".

Deewee, stylized as DEEWEE is a record label founded in 2015 by David and Stephen Dewaele of the band Soulwax. The label operates from a building in Ghent (Belgium) that the Dewaele brothers nickname DEEWEE 001, referring to it as the first item on the label's catalog. The building was designed for the Dewaeles by Belgian architect Glenn Sestig. It houses the recording studio where all releases on the label are written, recorded or mixed.
Topical Dancer is a studio album by Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul and co-written and co-produced by Soulwax. Released on 4 March 2022 under the label Deewee, Topical Dancer is Adigéry and Pupul's debut album as a duo.
Letter to Yu is the upcoming solo debut album by Bolis Pupul. It is set for release on 8 March 2024, by Soulwax's record label Deewee. Pupul produced the album with Soulwax's Stephen and David Dewaele, recording at their studio in Ghent.
Bolis Pupul is a Belgian musician. He was raised in Ghent. He is best known for his collaborative work with Charlotte Adigéry, and particularly for their debut album Topical Dancer. His solo debut album, Letter to Yu, will be released on 8 March 2024.
