Diego Iori (born May 20, 1986) is an Italian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the HC Fassa of the Serie A. [1] Iori competed in the 2012 IIHF World Championship as a member of the Italy men's national ice hockey team.

The potential of including additional franchises to the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has been an ongoing topic since the league's inception. 2011–12 NCAA Division I mens ice hockey season

The 2011–12 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began on October 1, 2011 and concluded with the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament's championship game on April 7, 2012 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida. This was the 65th season in which an NCAA ice hockey championship was held and is the 117th year overall where an NCAA school fielded a team.

The 2003 IIHF World U18 Championship Division I was a pair of international under-18 ice hockey tournaments run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Division I tournaments made up the second level of competition at the 2003 IIHF World U18 Championships. The Group A tournament took place between 23 and 29 March 2003 in Ventspils, Latvia and the Group B tournament took place between 22 and 28 March 2003 in Briançon, France. Denmark and Norway won the Group A and Group B tournaments respectively and gained promotion to the Championship Division for the 2004 IIHF World U18 Championships. While Great Britain finished last in Group A and Ukraine last in Group B and were both relegated to Division II for 2004.

Derek Edwardson is an American born Italian professional ice hockey player who is currently an Unrestricted Free Agent. He has played in the Italian Serie A with HC Fassa, HC Bolzano and SG Cortina. Edwardson competed in the 2012 IIHF World Championship as a member of the Italy men's national ice hockey team.
