Dillon Head (born October 11,2004) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the San Diego Padres organization.
Head grew up in Glenwood,Illinois and attended Homewood-Flossmoor High School. [1] He batted 467 with six home runs,28 RBIs,and 35 stolen bases as a junior. [2] Head committed to play college baseball at Clemson. [3]
Head was selected by the San Diego Padres in the first round,with the 25th overall selection,of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft. [4] On June 18,2023,Head signed with the Padres on an under slot deal worth $2.8 million. [5]

He was a first-round draft choice,30th overall,in the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft by the Boston Red Sox. Kelly was the top minor league prospect in the Red Sox organization when he was acquired by the San Diego Padres after the 2010 season,along with three other prospects,in exchange for All-Star player Adrián González. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with San Diego in 2012,but underwent Tommy John surgery the following year. Kelly was traded to the Atlanta Braves after the 2015 season.
