Dilwyn E. John (born 3 June 1944) is a Welsh former professional footballer and amateur snooker player. He made more than 160 appearances in The Football League for Cardiff City and Swansea City. [1]
A goalkeeper, John began his career at Cardiff City, making his debut at the age of seventeen in September 1961 during a 3–2 win over Chelsea. He struggled to maintain the number one spot and found himself in and out of the Cardiff side. During his time at Ninian Park, he played for the Wales U23 side and eventually moved to Swansea City in March 1967. He managed to stem the flow of goals the club were conceding but could not help them avoid relegation to Division Four but helped them to promotion two years later before leaving to play for non-league football for Hereford United and Merthyr Tydfil before retiring. John was also a talented snooker player and became Welsh amateur champion during the 1980s and was runner-up in the 1985 IBSF World Snooker Championships. [3]

Frederick Charles Keenor was a Welsh professional footballer. He began his career at his hometown side Cardiff City after impressing the club's coaching staff in a trial match in 1912 organised by his former schoolteacher. A hard tackling defender, he appeared sporadically for the team in the Southern Football League before his spell at the club was interrupted by the outbreak of the First World War. Keenor served in the 17th (Service) Battalion, Middlesex Regiment, led by Major Frank Buckley, which became known as the Football Battalion. He fought in the Battle of the Somme, suffering a severe shrapnel wound to his thigh in 1916. He returned to Britain and after a lengthy rehabilitation he ended the war as a physical training instructor, reaching the rank of sergeant. He also appeared as a guest player for Brentford during the war.

Founded in 1899 as Riverside A.F.C., the club changed its name to Cardiff City in 1908 and entered the Southern Football League in 1910 before joining the English Football League in 1920. He joined Middlesbrough in 1962 for a club record fee of £25,000 and later played for Swindon Town. During his career, he also represented Wales at under-23 level and gained 12 caps at senior level.
Derek Michael Brazil is an Irish former professional footballer. During his career he made over 200 appearances in the Football League and represented Republic of Ireland at youth and B levels. After being spotted playing football in his home country, Brazil joined the youth system at Manchester United, making two league appearances for the first-team, and later captained the club's reserve side.
