Dinamo-Raubichi Minsk is an ice hockey team based in Minsk, Belarus.

Ice hockey is a contact team sport played on ice, usually in a rink, in which two teams of skaters use their sticks to shoot a vulcanized rubber puck into their opponent's net to score points. The sport is known to be fast-paced and physical, with teams usually consisting of six players each: one goaltender, and five players who skate up and down the ice trying to take the puck and score a goal against the opposing team.

It currently consists of 33 teams from 4 countries. Some of these teams are subsidiaries for their respective KHL or VHL professional counterparts, other teams are subsidiaries of teams of other leagues and some teams don't have an affiliated team. A player's age cannot be older than 20. The Kharlamov Cup, named after star ice hockey player Valeri Kharlamov, is awarded annually as the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia's official Junior Championship, following a 16-team playoff at the end of the regular season.

The 2000 IIHF World U20 Championship, commonly referred as the 2000 World Junior Hockey Championships, was the 24th edition of the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. The tournament was hosted in Skellefteå and Umeå, Sweden from December 25, 1999, to January 4, 2000. The Czech Republic won the gold medal with a 1–0 shootout victory over Russia in the championship game, while Canada won the bronze medal with a 4–3 shootout victory over the United States. This still remains as the only tournament to where both medal games have been decided in a shootout.

Hockey Club Dinamo Minsk is an ice hockey team based in Minsk, Belarus. They are members of the Bobrov Division of the Kontinental Hockey League.

In its past, it has switched several times between being and not being an open league, but for the 2008-2009 season, the Belarus Ice Hockey Federation has decided to open the Extraleague, the Belarusian Vysshaya Liga, and the Belarusian junior leagues.

Belarus has played in the top division eight times, first in 1999 and most recently in 2018, with their best finish being ninth overall in both 2001 and 2002.
