Dinesh Daminda (born 23 October 1983) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. [1] He has played 47 first-class and 30 List A matches for several domestic sides in Sri Lanka since 2004. [1] He made his Twenty20 debut on 17 August 2004, for Ragama Cricket Club in the 2004 SLC Twenty20 Tournament. [2] His last first-class match was for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club in the 2012–13 Premier Trophy on 30 March 2013. [3]
Chilaw Marians Cricket Club are a first-class cricket team based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. They play their home games at FTZ Sports Complex. The club has won the Premier League one day Tournament in 2005. More successful in limited overs cricket, Chilaw reached the final of the International 20:20 Club Championship in 2005.

He is a quick-scoring left-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He was born in Colombo, and attended Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa. He announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on 8 January 2021 because of him moving to United States with his family.

The Chilaw Marians Cricket Club Ground, also known as the FTZ Sports Complex, or Free Trade Zone Sports Complex, is a cricket ground in Katunayake, Sri Lanka. It has hosted both first-class and List A cricket matches in domestic cricket tournaments in Sri Lanka. In August 2018, it was named as the venue to host some of the matches between Sri Lanka women and India women for their tour in September 2018.

The competition began on 17 August 2004, when Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club played the Police Sports Club at Colts Cricket Club Ground, Colombo.
