Dino Claudio M. Sanchez is the incumbent vice mayor of Butuan City, Philippines. [1] He was also a former councilor before winning the vice-mayoralty position in the May 2007 elections. [2] He comes from a family with a long history of public service.

Butuanon is an Austronesian regional language spoken in Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur, with some native speakers in Misamis Oriental and Surigao del Norte. It is a part of the Visayan language family and is closely related to other Philippine languages. As of 2007, Butuanon is believed to be spoken by fewer than 500 youngsters in Butuan itself.
