Dipankar Ghosh (born 26 November 1943) is an Indian former cricketer. He played two first-class matches for Bengal between 1964 and 1969. [1]

The 2018 Calcutta Football League Premier Division was the 121st season of the Calcutta Premier Division, a state association football league within the Indian state of West Bengal. The league is divided into two groups – Division A and Division B. Dipankar Ghosh was an Indian mountaineer from West Bengal. He is the first Bengali to climb Mount Everest and had successfully climbed two other eight-thousand-meter peaks besides Mount Everest. In 2019, the Government of India posthumously honored him with the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award for the year 2018, the highest adventure sports honor in India. He died in 2019.
