The music video for the song debuted on March 4, 2006 on MTV Latin America in Mexico and South America. It was shot by Rodrigo Guardiola.
The video starts with the vocalist of Panda, José Madero, who arrives to his girlfriend's house (played by Mariana Quintanilla). She is carried by him throughout the video because she is appeared to be dead. Once inside the house, they have a dinner (during which he proposes to her) with her parents, who don't seem to notice she is dead. The parents also act like zombies maybe ignoring the reality of the situation.
In reality, Mariana Quintanilla (the actress in the video) is the ex-girlfriend of the bassist, Ricardo Treviño.
The video was shot in an old and dirty house in Monterrey, Mexico.
Selena Quintanilla-Pérez was an American singer, songwriter, spokesperson, businesswoman, model, actress, and fashion designer. Referred to as the "Queen of Tejano music", her contributions to music and fashion made her one of the most celebrated Mexican-American entertainers of the late 20th century. Billboard magazine named her the top-selling Latin artist of the 1990s decade, while her posthumous collaboration with MAC cosmetics became the best-selling celebrity collection in cosmetics history. Media outlets called her the "Tejano Madonna" for her clothing choices. She also ranks among the most influential Latin artists of all time and is credited for catapulting a music genre into the mainstream market.
Julieta Venegas Percevault is an American-born Mexican singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer who sings pop-rock in Spanish. She speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish fluently. She has a twin sister, Yvonne, who is a photographer. Venegas grew up in Tijuana and began studying music at age eight. She went on to join several bands including Mexican ska band Tijuana No!.
The Kumbia Kings were a Mexican-American cumbia group from Corpus Christi, Texas, created by A. B. Quintanilla. Their music encompasses the styles of cumbia, hip hop, and R&B. They produce songs in both Spanish and English. The band's producers from the beginning have been Quintanilla and Cruz Martínez. Quintanilla is the brother of the late "Queen of Tejano", Selena. Quintanilla played bass guitar for the group, while Martínez, husband of international artist Alicia Villarreal, played keyboards. Both co-wrote songs for the Kumbia Kings. Though the group has gone through a revolving door of members in recent years amid controversy and finger-pointing, and the Kumbia Kings of today are vastly different from what originated in Corpus Christi over eight years ago, Quintanilla and Martínez were always the soul of the group. Gone are original members Frankie J and DJ Kane, both of whom have gone on to significant success as solo artists, as well as the group K1, a collaboration of founding members of Kumbia Kings who have defected from the group for reason of "internal dissension". Quintanilla, Irvin "Pee Wee" Salinas, as well as Selena's widower Chris Pérez, also decided to leave the group due to that same "internal dissension" and joined Los Kumbia All Starz, formed by A.B. Quintanilla. Martínez kept what was left of Los Kumbia Kings and formed his own group Los Super Reyes with the remaining members. In October 2009, Quintanilla and Martínez solved their differences, and announced that the Kumbia Kings would reunite for a series of concerts lasting from late 2009 through early 2010.
Selena y Los Dinos was an American Tejano band formed in 1981 by Tejano singer Selena and her father Abraham Quintanilla, until the murder of Selena in 1995, and the subsequent dissolution of the band in the same year. When Selena was signed with EMI Latin, EMI president José Behar told Selena that "the world wanted Selena, not Selena y Los Dinos." Selena then began releasing her studio albums under her own logo title Selena and not Selena y Los Dinos. Before Selena was signed with EMI, the band had sold more than 80,000 copies in the state of Texas.
Kudai are a Latin Grammy Award-nominated Chilean pop group that was founded in Santiago, Chile. Its original members were Tomás Manzi, Pablo Holman, Nicole Natalino and Bárbara Sepúlveda Labra. In 2006 Nicole Natalino left the group citing personal reasons, and was replaced by Ecuadorian Gabriela Villalba for three years. They released five albums in Latin America: Vuelo in 2004, Sobrevive in 2006, Nadha in 2008, Laberinto in 2019 and Revuelo in 2021.

Panda was a Mexican rock band formed in Monterrey, Nuevo León in 1996 as part of the musical movement known as Avanzada Regia. The last line-up consisted in singer José Madero, drummer Jorge Vásquez, lead guitarist Arturo Arredondo and bassist Ricardo Treviño.

Los Kumbia All Starz are an American musical group from Corpus Christi, Texas who play Mexican cumbia. The group was created by A.B. Quintanilla, the older brother of Selena Quintanilla-Perez. Kumbia All Starz are not to be confused with Los Kumbia Kings although some members are originally from Los Kumbia Kings. Their 2006 debut album Ayer Fue Kumbia Kings, Hoy Es Kumbia All Starz reached number one on United States Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart, number one on the Top Latin Albums chart, and number sixty-eight on the United States Billboard 200. The album spawned two charting singles, "Chiquilla" and "Parece Que Va a Llover".
Los 10+ Pedidos is a television show broadcast on MTV in Latin America. It has the same concept as the U.S. MTV show Total Request Live in that it airs the ten most requested videos, and between the voted videos it shows other videos. It is believed to be one of the shows on MTVla with the highest ratings. Originally it was broadcast in an hour, then at the end of 2005 it was extended to ninety minutes, now it lasts one hour again.

Los Super Reyes are an American musical group from Corpus Christi, Texas who play Mexican cumbia. The group was created by Cruz Martínez after he and A.B. Quintanilla had arguments over Martínez selling the group they were both in at the time, Los Kumbia Kings. A.B. Quintanilla left the group, which he had created, along with other members and created Kumbia All Starz. Cruz Martínez kept Los Kumbia Kings but changed the name to Los Super Reyes for legal issues.

It was composed by Selena y Los Dinos backup singer Pete Astudillo and Selena's brother and principal record producer A.B. Quintanilla III. The song was produced by Quintanilla III and Argentine music producer Bebu Silvetti.

Abraham Quintanilla Jr. is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. He is the father of singer Selena, and executively produced a biographical film about her life in 1997, in which he was portrayed by actor Edward James Olmos.

Abraham Isaac Quintanilla III, known professionally as A. B. Quintanilla III or A. B. Quintanilla, is an American record producer, songwriter and musician, and the older brother of "The Queen of Tejano music" Selena. Along with Selena, his other sister Suzette, and his father Abraham, he became a member of Los Dinos in 1980. As a member of Los Dinos, A. B. played bass guitar, produced, and wrote songs for Selena that became successful singles such as "Como la Flor", "Amor Prohibido" and "No Me Queda Más".
