Disturbing London is an entertainment company founded by cousins Dumi Oburota and Tinie Tempah in 2006. Whilst operating primarily as a record label, the company also has arms in brand consultancy, artist management, event management, music publishing and fashion label. [1] Co-founder Dumi Oburota was included in the 2019 edition of the Powerlist, ranking the 100 most influential Black Britons. [2]
In May 2018, it was announced that German-British record label Parlophone Records had signed 'an exclusive label partnership with Disturbing London,' with Parlophone co-president Mark Mitchell saying:
'It is a true joint venture, they will remain the A&R, the talent and artist relationship side. We'll amplify their A&R decisions through marketing, international and promotions around the globe.' [3]
In July 2012, Disturbing London collaborated with Nike to release a special edition Disturbing London x Nike Blazer Mid LR. [4] Limited to 60 pairs, the shoes were distributed in six different locations across London with both Tinie Tempah and Nike giving out clues for fans to locate the shoes across their Twitter accounts. In July 2017, Disturbing London collaborated with SMART to design two limited edition Disturbing London models of the SMART Fortwo, and ForFour [6] designed by Tinie Tempah, Dumi Oburota and Sandy Cheema.[ citation needed ] The partnership was initiated back in 2015 when Disturbing London curated original social media content called 'smart Disturbs London.'[ citation needed ]
Parlophone Records Limited is a German–British record label founded in Germany in 1896 by the Carl Lindström Company as Parlophon. The British branch of the label was founded on 8 August 1923 as the Parlophone Company Limited, which developed a reputation in the 1920s as a jazz record label. On 5 October 1926, the Columbia Graphophone Company acquired Parlophone's business, name, logo, and release library, and merged with the Gramophone Company on 31 March 1931 to become Electric & Musical Industries Limited (EMI). George Martin joined Parlophone in 1950 as assistant label manager, taking over as manager in 1955. Martin produced and released a mix of recordings, including by comedian Peter Sellers, pianist Mrs Mills, and teen idol Adam Faith.
Jahmaal Noel Fyffe, better known by his stage name Chip, is a British rapper and songwriter from Tottenham, North London. In the past 14 years he has collaborated with the likes of Skepta, T.I., Meek Mill, Young Adz and many others. In 2009, he released his debut album, I Am Chipmunk, featuring four songs which peaked in the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart, including the chart-topping "Oopsy Daisy". He has been signed to Parlophone Records since 2009, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. He created his own entertainment company Disturbing London in 2006, along with his cousin Dumi Oburota.

Disc-Overy is the debut studio album by the British rapper Tinie Tempah, released in Ireland on 1 October 2010 and in the United Kingdom on 17 January 2011, by Parlophone Records. The original album track list includes Kelly Rowland, Ellie Goulding, Labrinth, Emeli Sandé, Eric Turner, Wiz Khalifa, Swedish House Mafia and Range. Disc-Overy uses predominantly upbeat, dance-orientated production with lyrics concerning fame, youth and love. The album earned Tinie two BRIT Awards in 2011 and has received Double-Platinum certification by the BPI. It also reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. In July 2011, Disc-Overy was announced as a nominee for the annual Mercury Music Prize.
"Invincible" is a song by English rapper Tinie Tempah. Written by Tempah, co-written and produced by iSHi, the song features guest vocals from American recording artist, Kelly Rowland. It was released on 26 December 2010, serving as the fourth official single from Tempah's debut album, Disc-Overy. The song was conceived by Tempah as a tribute to the music which Rowland used to release when she was part of Destiny's Child. Critics noted the song's production, which consists of brassy horns and a piano riff similar to David Guetta and Rowland's hit single "When Love Takes Over" (2009). An accompanying music video sees Tempah travelling through London reminiscing about his humble beginnings. Rowland appears as a projected image on the buildings.

Demonstration is the second studio album by British rapper Tinie Tempah. The album was released on 4 November 2013 as the follow-up to his commercially successful debut album, Disc-Overy (2010). In December 2010, Tempah announced he was writing for his second album, saying there would be a more electronic and live feel to it. All About She are an English band from London, England. The band consists of record producers James Tadgell and Jon Clare, and singer Vanya Taylor. They were signed to Tinie Tempah's record label Disturbing London and have worked several times with him as well as other artists on the label. Tadgell and Clare, who have both previously worked with Devlin and Scorcher, wrote and produced "Intro", which opens Tinie Tempah's debut album Disc-Overy. Vanya provided vocals for Tinie's hit single "Simply Unstoppable" and Roska's song "Desire". Taylor has also performed backing vocals for Jessie J, and All About She created a remix of her single "It's My Party" for the deluxe edition of her second album, Alive. Sasha Keable is a British singer and songwriter of Colombian descent from South London, England. In 2013, she collaborated with Disclosure on the single "Voices" and toured with the duo around the UK. In 2014, she supported singer Katy B on her UK tour. She has released two extended plays to date, Black Book (2013) and Lemongrass and Limeleaves (2014). Both were signed to Tinie Tempah's independent record label Disturbing London.
