Ditte Hansen (born 6 December 1970, in Copenhagen) is a Danish actress and author known for writing and starring in the TV series Ditte & Louise and its film spin-off as well as her appearances in the Cirkusrevyen.

Early life

Hansen was born on 6 December 1970 in Copenhagen. She grew up with her father, an alcoholic, where he occasionally abuses her as she attempted to calm down. These events traumatised Hansen, as she sometimes goes to therapy to escape her past while having strong support with her husband. [1]

Career

Hansen graduated from the School of Acting at the Odense Theater in 1996 and from 1996 to 1998 was employed at the theatre.

Hansen made her film debut in Hella Joof's comedy-drama Oh Happy Day. She made her debut in the Cirkusrevyen in 2006. [2] She hosted the awarding of Reumert of the Year in May 2010 and again in 2011. In 2012, she appeared on television as forensic pathologist in Crime III and various roles in the satire program In the fence on DR1. She hosted the Reumert Awards in May 2010 and again in 2011. In 2012, she appeared on television as forensic pathologist in Forbrydelsen III and various roles in the satirical series I hegnet on DR1. [3] Between 2015 and 2018, she wrote and starred in Ditte & Louise opposite Louise Mieritz, across two seasons and a theatrical film. In 2019, she published the book Gode Kasser. [4]

Private life

She is married to the actor Benjamin Boe Rasmussen.

Ditte Gråbøl is a Danish actress. She trained at Aarhus Teater and graduated in 1984. Having worked at Jomfru Ane Teatret, she has appeared in a number of revues, among others the Cirkusrevyen more than once. She has also appeared on TV in Flemming og Berit, Fæhår og Harzen, Bryggeren, Krøniken, The Eagle and Album. Her breakthrough came with the DR satire show, Den gode, den onde og den virk'li sjove which was broadcast from 1990 to 1992. She played various parts on the show but is particularly remembered for her portrayal of a cantankerous, coughing woman in the "Four ordinary Danes" sketch. Gråbøl's name was at the time Ditte Knudsen, Knudsen being her maiden name. She began using the surname of Gråbøl after marrying the director, Niels Gråbøl in 1992. They were, however, divorced in 1998.

The Robert Award for Best Short Television Series is one of the merit awards presented by the Danish Film Academy at the annual Robert Awards ceremony. The award has been handed out since 2014.

The Reumert Award is an annual Danish awards ceremony to recognize excellence in theatre achievements in Denmark. The award was founded by the Bikuben Foundation in 1998, and has been handed annually since then. There are 16 award categories as well as 10 talent awards. A jury of ten specialists in theatre selects the recipients, who receive a statuette and a prize. As of 2016, the recipients also receive an amount of money. The recipients of the Reumert Award of Honour receive DKK 200,000, the recipients of the Talent Prize receive DKK 35,000 and all other categories-recipients receive DKK 40,000. The Reumert prize is named after the Danish actor Poul Reumert (1883–1968).

Maria Lucia Heiberg Rosenberg is a Danish singer and musical-performer. She became famous when she won a record contract with the label EMI in the TV 2-program Popstars in 2003. Her debut single "Taking Back My Heart" (2004) was no. 1 on hitlisten. The album That's Just Me sold 22.0000 copies.

Anna Guðmundína Guðrún Borg was a Danish-Icelandic actress of stage and screen and autobiographer. The daughter of the Icelandic actress Stefanía Guðmundsdóttir, she grew up in a household where theatre was part of her daily life and began acting at age nine. Borg joined the Royal Danish Theatre in 1928, portraying strong and pure female characters, and also performed in the Dagmar Theatre and the National Theatre of Iceland. She and 11 other people were killed in an aeroplane accident near Oslo in April 1963 and her memoirs were published posthumously the following year. Borg was a recipient of the Ingenio et arti theatre award, the Tagea Brandt Rejselegat, the Läkerol's Culture Award and the Teaterkatten.
