The Division Two League is the second tier football league in Ghana. It is two tiers below the Ghana Premier League. [1] The top teams after series of games are promoted to the upper tier and lower teams are relegated

League structure

The league is divided into regional zones with a zone in each of the ten regions of the country. Each zone is further divided into two groups to further reduce the distance between the participating teams in a zone.

Ghana Womens Premier League Association football league

The Ghana Women’s Premier League(GWPL) previously known as the National Women's League (NWL) is the top division league for women's football in Ghana. It was first launched in 2012. Contested by 18 clubs in two zones, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Ghana Women's Division One. Seasons run from December to July with each team playing 16 matches. Most games are played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
