Sillunu Oru Kaadhal is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Krishna. It stars Bhumika, Suriya and Jyothika, while Shriya Sharma, Sukanya, Vadivelu and Santhanam play supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. The film was first titled as Jillendru Oru Kaadhal and then as Jillunu Oru Kaadhal before it was renamed again to Sillunu Oru Kaadhal.

Kurumbu (transl. Naughty) is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language teen romantic comedy film directed by Vishnuvardhan, making his directorial debut. The film, a remake of the 2002 Telugu film Allari, stars Naresh, who also starred in the original version, along with Nikita Thukral and Diya. The film was released on 21 November 2003, failing to repeat the success of the original version and hence, ending up as a box-office bomb. Although there is the Telugu original, it was dubbed in Telugu also as Naa Allari.

Diya, previously known as Karu (transl. Embryo), is a 2018 Indian horror film directed by A. L. Vijay and produced by Lyca Productions. The film is shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages, the latter titled as Kanam (transl. Particle). It stars Sai Pallavi, Naga Shourya, and Veronika Arora. The music was composed by Sam CS, with editing done by Anthony and cinematography by Nirav Shah. Both the Tamil and Telugu versions were released on 27 April 2018.
P. Jayadevi was an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter and actress who worked on Tamil films. Regarded as one of the first female directors in the Tamil film industry, Jayadevi was predominantly active in the 1980s and 1990s.
