Magic System is an Ivorian zouglou and coupé-décalé music group, formed in 1996 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. When it was created, the group had more than fifty members, the best known of whom today are A'Salfo, Goude, Tino and Manadja. The sounds drawn from zouglou ignited the African scene for more than a decade. Their songs are also used to denounce unhappiness and all forms of abuse in Ivorian society. However, dissensions arise within the group, which breaks up and gives birth to the group as it is known today with the four "magicians".

Dadju Alimasi Nsungula, better known by the mononym Dadju or at times Prince Dadj, is a Congolese-French singer. He was signed to the label Wati B and in 2017 signed with Polydor Records of Universal Music Group. He was a member of the musical formation Shin Sekaï alongside rapper Abou Tall from 2012 to 2016. The duo was part of the label Wati B and released the album Indéfini. The duo announced that they were breaking up so they can each follow solo careers. Dadju released his solo album Gentleman 2.0 in 2017.

Stanislas Georges Dinga-Pinto, better known by the stage name Niska, is a French rapper from Évry, Essonne. He is signed to Universal Music France and Barclay Records. He was initially in the rap group Negro Deep before going solo. Niska is a derivative of his name Stany in reverse (Nista), replacing the "t" with a "k". Niska has released four albums, Charo Life (2015), Zifukoro (2016), Commando (2017), Mr Sal (2019), and Le monde est méchant (2021) with the first two reaching number 3 on SNEP, the official French Albums chart and the third and fourth topping the French chart.
Sofiane Zermani is a French rapper of Algerian descent. He is also known as Fianso. Born in Saint-Denis, Paris Region, he lived in the nearby Stains until age 13 when he moved to Le Blanc-Mesnil.
Marwa Outamghart, commonly known as Marwa Loud, is a French singer of Moroccan origin. Her parents come from a Berber village near Beni Mellal. In 2017, she was signed to Lartiste's record label Purple Money Purple (PMP). She is best known for a number of singles, notably "Bimbo". Her debut album Loud was certified gold in 2018 reaching number 2 on the French Albums Chart and also charting in Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland. Maëlle Pistoia, better known as simply Maëlle is a French singer. She is the winner of the seventh season of the French version of the talent show The Voice. In April 2019, she released her first single, titled "Toutes les machines ont un cœur".
Gambi is a French rapper and hip hop artist from Fontenay-sous-Bois. His 2019 singles "Hé oh" and "Popopop" have both topped SNEP, the French Singles Chart. Gambi started his music career in 2018 with a series of Makak clips on -YouTube. In May 2019, he was signed to the label Rec. 118, an affiliate of Warner Music France. In 2019 edition of Paris Fashion Week, he became the face of the brand AfterHomeWork.
Yvick Letexier, better known as Mister V, is a French YouTuber, Internet personality, comedian, rapper, and actor. In 2014, he and six other young comedians set up Le Woop, a collective of comedians who post their videos on YouTube, and also perform live. He is of Cameroonian descent from his mother's side and his father is Breton.
Gandhi Bilel Djuna, better known by his stage name Maître Gims and more recently just Gims, is a DR Congolese singer-songwriter and rapper. He grew up in France and currently lives in France and Morocco. He is a former member of the hip hop group Sexion d'Assaut and released his first major album, Subliminal in 2013. The album sold over a million copies in France and peaked at number two in the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique. His other two albums follow: Mon cœur avait raison in 2015 and Ceinture noire in 2018 reached number one in France and Belgium (Wallonia) and peaked in the top 40 in various European countries, including Denmark, Italy and Switzerland.
Mihaja Ramiarinarivo, better known by his stage name Oboy, is a French rapper of Malagasy origin. He raps in the mumble rap style.
