Djoenie Steenvoorde (born 1 May 1981, Seoul) [1] is a Dutch basketball player who played for Dutch league eredivisie clubs Omniworld Almere, Rotterdam Challengers and Eiffel Towers Den Bosch during the 2003-2012 seasons. [2]

Steenvoorde is a commune in the Nord department in northern France. Once part of the Seventeen Provinces of the Low Countries, Steenvoorde was the site of the beginning of the Beeldenstorm, or "Iconoclastic Fury." Today the city is known for its Géants du Nord, sculptures of giants that can be admired in summer festivals.

In medicine, a Phrygian cap is the folded portion of some gallbladders that resembles the Phrygian cap. It is a normal anatomical variant seen in 1-6% of patients. It is caused by a fold in the gallbladder where the gallbladder fundus joins the gallbladder body. Apart from the chance of being mistaken for stones on a sonogram, it has no other medical implications nor does it predispose one to other diseases. However, due to potential decrease in bile flow, it may warrant a preventive removal of the gallbladder.

The Dutch Basketball League All-Star Gala was a yearly basketball event in the Netherlands, organised by the Federatie Eredivisie Basketball (FEB). During the event the yearly All-Star Game was played, which included the best players of a given DBL season. Additionally, a dunk Contest and three-point contest were also held at the event. Since the 2017–18 season, the event is no longer organised by the FEB.
