History

On June 27, 2008 dnata Travel Services bought a 20% stake in United Kingdom-based Hogg Robinson Group [2] making it the largest shareholder of that company. [3]

Locations

dnata Travel has its headquarters located in dnata Airline Center in the Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE. [4] As the retail arm of dnata offering travel services and products, dnata Travel Services has 44 retail outlets scattered within Dubai.

In January 2009, dnata Travel Services and HRG launched a satellite in Kabul, Afghanistan., [5] expanding the company's reach further outward in the Middle East region.

Jazeera Airways is one of the largest operators at Kuwait airport, having handled a quarter of all aircraft movements and passengers at the airport during July 2009. According to the July 2009 report issued by Kuwait Directorate General for Civil Aviation's, Jazeera Airways had the largest number of aircraft movement in the month with 1834 take-offs and landings, overpassing the second-largest carrier in aircraft movement by 4%.

Netflights.com is an internet based travel company and part of Gold Medal Travel Group in the United Kingdom supplying flights, hotels, holidays and car hires. Established in 1992 as Airline Network, the company was privately owned 100% by Ken Townsley. In February 2014 the company was acquired by Dubai-based air service provider dnata, that is part of the Emirates Group.
