Birendra Kumar Kanodia is a Nepalese politician and member of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly. He was elected as parliamentary party leader. He is the current leader of the opposition of Lumbini Province.
Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary is a Nepali politician of Nepali Congress and Minister in Lumbini government. He is also serving as member of the Lumbini Province Provincial Assembly. Chaudhary was elected to the 2017 provincial assembly elections from Dang 3(A). He is currently serving as Minister for Tourism, Rural and Urban Development on 12 August 2021.
Gandaki ProvinceListen (help·info)), is one of the seven federal provinces established by the current constitution of Nepal which was promulgated on 20 September 2015. Pokhara is the province's capital city. It borders the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north, Bagmati Province to the east, Karnali Province to the west, and Lumbini Province and Bihar of India to the south. The total area of the province is 21,504 km2 - about 14.57% of the country's total area. According to the latest census, the population of the province was 2,479,745. The newly elected Provincial Assembly adopted Gandaki Province as the permanent name by replacing its initial name Province no. 4 in July 2018. Krishna Chandra Nepali is the present chief minister of Gandaki Province.
Karnali Province is one of the seven federal provinces of Nepal formed by the new constitution which was adopted on 20 September 2015. The total area of the province is 27,984 square kilometres (10,805 sq mi) covering 18.97% of the country, making it the largest province in Nepal. According to the 2011 Nepal census, the population of the province was 1,570,418, making it the least populous province in Nepal. It borders the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north, Gandaki Province to the east, Sudurpashchim Province to the west, and Lumbini Province to the south. Birendranagar with a population of 154,886 is both the province's capital and largest city.
Prithvi Subba Gurung is a Nepalese politician and former Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, a province in western Nepal. He is presently the leader of opposition in Gandaki. He was member of the 1st Nepalese Constituent Assembly and Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal. He was unanimously selected Parliamentary Party leader of CPN (UML) for Gandaki Province on 11 February 2018.

As of 2013, he was the chairman of the Akhanda Nepal Party which later on joined Nepali Congress ahead of the 2017 Nepalese local elections. He is also serving as member of the Gandaki Province Provincial Assembly. Khadka was elected to the 2017 provincial assembly elections from proportional list of the party. He including three other ministers joined Krishna Chandra Nepali cabinet in first lot. He joined Krishna Chandra Nepali cabinet as Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Urban Development and Transport Management on 12 June 2021.
Kul Prasad KC is a Nepalese politician and former Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, a province in western Nepal. He was unanimously selected Parliamentary Party leader of CPN(Maoist-centre) for Lumbini Province in 2018. KC was elected from Rolpa 1(A) to provincial Assembly of Lumbini province.
In Nepal, the chief minister is the elected head of government of each of the seven provinces. The chief minister is appointed by the governor of the provinces according to Article 167 of the Constitution of Nepal.
The chief minister of Gandaki Province is the chief executive of the Nepal state of Gandaki Province. In accordance with the Constitution of Nepal, the governor is a state's de jure head, but de facto executive authority rests with the chief minister. Following elections to the Povincial Assembly of Gandaki Province, the state's governor usually invites the party with a majority of seats to form the government. The governor appoints the chief minister, whose council of ministers are collectively responsible to the assembly. Given the confidence of the assembly, the chief minister's term is for five years and is subject to no term limits.

Shrestha was elected to the 2017 provincial assembly elections from the proportional list. He joined Krishna Chandra Nepali cabinet as Minister for Education, Culture, Science, Technology and Social Development on 23 July 2021.
The People's Progressive Party is a political party in Nepal. Although the party's primary base is still in Terai Madhesh area of Madhesh Province and Lumbini Province, it has tried to expand to a pan-Nepalese base.
Provincial assembly elections were held in Nepal on 20 November 2022 along with the general election. 330 seats in the seven provincial assemblies will be elected by first-past-the-post voting and 220 by proportional representation.
The first Province No. 1 Provincial Assembly was elected by the 2017 provincial elections. 93 members were elected to the assembly, 56 of whom were elected through direct elections and 37 of whom were elected through the party list proportional representation system. The term of the assembly started on 5 February 2018 and ended in September 2022. Sher Dhan Rai and Bhim Acharya served as chief ministers from CPN and Rajendra Kumar Rai served as chief minister from CPN during the term of the assembly. Pradeep Kumar Bhandari served as the speaker of the assembly and Saraswati Pokharel served as deputy speaker.

Netra Nath Adhikari served as the speaker of the assembly and Srijana Sharma served as the deputy speaker.

The term of the assembly started on 4 February 2018 and ended in September 2022. Mahendra Bahadur Shahi from the CPN and Jeevan Bahadur Shahi from the Nepali Congress served as chief ministers during the term of the assembly. Raj Bahadur Shahi served as the speaker of the assembly and Pushpa Bahadur Gharti served as the deputy speaker.
