Dobré ráno, Brno! (Good Morning, Brno!) is a comedy television series directed by Jan Prušinovský, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Tomáš Holeček. Prušinovský was inspired by Czech TV show Dobré ráno. The series he exaggerates and parodies Dobré ráno, its crew and the behind-the-scenes situations. [1] Prušinovský wrote the script for the series based on his own experience when he himself was a guest on the Dobré ráno broadcast in the Brno studio. [2] The series starrs Jan Kolařík, Zuzana Zlatohlávková, Ondřej Kokorský, Simona Lewandowská, Roman Slovák, Tereza Volánková, Ivana Hloužková and Nikola Mucha.
The series was first shown in September 2022 at the Serial Killer festival in Brno. [3] The first part of the series had its television premiere on ČT1 on 9 January 2023 but Czech Television published it ahead of time on iVysílání on 31 December 2022. [4] On 5 March 2023 Prušinovský announced that series was renewed for second season that would start filming in April 2023. [5] In May 2023 ČT announced that season 2 is likely to start broadcast in January 2024 [6] and in November 2023 specified that it will start broadcast on 8 January 2024. [7] The first season had average rating 554,000 viewers including online views (20.12% share). [8]

Docent is a Czech crime television series. Doc. Otto Stehlík tracks down a cold-blooded serial killer as an investigator with unconventional but all the more functional strategy. Stehlík and his professional partner Monika Fousová represent a rather incongruous couple. Jan Malinda and Josef Mareš have written the script. Jiří Strach took over the direction. The first episode premiered on 5 February 2023 on ČT1. and was presented on 12 January in Prague's bio přítomnost. Director Strach revealed there that season 2 is in development and could start filming in the fall of the same year. Shooting of season 2 started in October 2023. Czech television started considering third season at the time.

Stíny v mlze is a 2022 crime drama television series by Czech Television. The premiere on ČT1 screens took place on 3 January 2022. The series was directed by Radim Špaček and the script was written by Zdeněk Zapletal. It consists of 12 episodes, each presenting a different case from Ostrava and its surroundings. The main roles of the investigators were played by Petra Špalková, Jiří Vyorálek and Petr Panzenberger. The daughter of Petra Špalková's character was played by Anděla Tichá, the real daughter of the actress. On 22 March 2023 Czech Television announced the series was renewed for season 2. Season 2 premiere was scheduled to start broadcast on 8 January 2024 but was delayed following 2023 Prague shooting as one episode is dealing with a topic of school shooting. The start of broadcast for season 2 was eventually set for 8 April 2024.

It was announced in June 2023 by FTV Prima as the main new program for Autumn 2023. Season 2 and 3 were filmed before the broadcast of first season while season 4 was planned according Extra.cz. The series was eventually cancelled after season 1 due to negative reception and low ratings. Season 2 which was confirmed to be finished was shelved.
