Doddridge County High School is a public secondary school near West Union, West Virginia.
The school, which serves grades 9–12, is a part of Doddridge County Schools.
The school serves the entire county of Doddridge and was created in 1933 when the newly instituted county school system consolidated Carr High School and West Union High School. The school principal is Scott Cochran and the vice principal is Karla Ezell. The school colors are green & white and their mascot is the bulldog.

Arthur Ingram Boreman was an American lawyer, politician and judge who helped found the U.S. state of West Virginia. Joseph Ellis Johnson was a farmer, businessman, and politician who served as United States Representative and became the 32nd Governor of Virginia from 1852 to 1856, the first Virginia governor to be popularly elected as well as the only Virginia governor from west of the Appalachian mountains. During the American Civil War, he sympathized with the Confederacy, but returned to what had become West Virginia for his final years.

Middle Island Creek is a river, 77 miles (124 km) long, in northwestern West Virginia in the United States. It is a tributary of the Ohio River, draining an area of 565 square miles (1,463 km2) on the unglaciated Allegheny Plateau. It was named by late 18th century pioneering travelers on the Ohio River, who noted the location of the Creek's mouth opposite Middle Island in the larger river.

The 2008 West Virginia gubernatorial election took place on November 4, 2008. Incumbent Governor Joe Manchin III was the Democratic nominee, challenged by Republican nominee Russ Weeks and Mountain Party candidate Jesse Johnson. Manchin won every county in the state and was reelected by the largest margin for any gubernatorial candidate in West Virginia's history. Manchin won by over 44%, even as Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential nominee, lost the state to John McCain in the presidential election. As of 2024, this is the last time that Doddridge County has voted for a Democratic candidate for statewide office.
