The Pennington Cottage is a historic home located at Deer Park, Garrett County, Maryland, United States. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, late-19th-century Shingle-Style frame structure, with a gambrel roof and a one-story porch that stretches across the principal facade and along portions of the sides. The house is entirely covered with dark wood shingles. It was built as a part of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad's Deer Park Hotel complex, as the summer home of Baltimore architect Josias Pennington.

The Iowan's Hotel, now known as the Railroad Inn, is a historic building located in Essex, Iowa, United States. The town of Essex was established by the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad. It was platted in 1870 as a station along the line. The depot opened in 1871 and the Lindel Hotel was completed in 1878. This building was completed in 1906 to replace the outdated Lindel. It operated under a variety of names over the years, including the Essex Hotel, Rose Hotel, Commercial Hotel, Bradley Hotel, Butler Hotel, Essex House, and the Railroad Inn. It is operated as a bed and breakfast under the last name. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
The Union Hotel is a historic hotel building at 926 Cundy's Harbor Road in the Cundy's Harbor village of Harpswell, Maine. Built in 1862, it is believed to be the oldest purpose-built summer resort hotel in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It now houses the Captain's Watch Bed and Breakfast.
The Sherrill Mount House, also known as the Fries Hotel, Moundside Apartments, and The Inn at Sherrill, is a historic building located in Sherrill, Iowa, United States. This is one of the few surviving pre-Civil War hotels left in Iowa, and one of the largest early stone structures remaining in rural Dubuque County. The three-story building is composed of native limestone with a cupola on top of the hip roof. It was built along a stagecoach route that traveled along the Mississippi River. At one time it was situated on a 40-acre (16 ha) plot of land on which were several out buildings for an agricultural operation that included an orchard and vineyard. The building also served the community as a post office and meeting hall. Before national prohibition in 1919 the inn included a beer garden, tavern and dance hall. It was at this time that the building was converted into an apartment building. It has subsequently been converted into a bed and breakfast called the Black Horse Inn. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
The Old Northern Inn is the oldest hostelry in northern Idaho. Located on Priest Lake in Coolin, Idaho, the two-story log hotel was built in 1900 by Walt Williams, an employee of the Great Northern Railroad. One of a number of lodges created to attract more passengers to the rail line, the Northern Inn is the only one that remains from the early days of Idaho statehood when mining, timber, and tourism businesses were beginning to develop around Priest Lake.
The National House is a hotel located at 102 South Parkview in Marshall, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It is thought to be the first brick building constructed in Calhoun County. As of 2019, the building operated as a bed and breakfast.
The La Ribera Hotel, also known as the Cypress Inn, is a historic Spanish Eclectic hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. It was designed by architects Blaine & Olsen of Oakland, California and built in 1929, by Meese & Briggs. The building was designated as a significant commercial building in the city's Downtown Historic District Property Survey, and was recorded with the Department of Parks and Recreation on February 13, 2003.
