Dominic Fedee is a Saint Lucian politician of the United Workers Party. Fedee is the former Minister for Tourism, Information and Broadcasting. [1] [2] He was elected parliamentary representative for Anse la Raye/Canaires in the general election held on 6 June 2016. [3] Fedee was later defeated in the 2021 general election. [4]

Fedee is former OECS regional Public Relations Officer for Sandals Resorts. [5] [6] He was appointed as an opposition member of the Senate of Saint Lucia in January 2016. [7]

Born in Guyana, Fedee is the brother of cricketer Sergio Fedee. [3] [5]

He left office after the SLP's defeat in the 2016 election and announced his resignation as party leader.

Having led Saint Lucia under British rule from 1964 to 1979, Compton served as Prime Minister three times: briefly in 1979, again from 1982 to 1996, and from 2006 until his death in 2007. He cofounded the conservative United Workers Party (UWP) in 1964; he led the party until 1996, then again from 2005 to 2007.

Ezechiel Joseph is a Saint Lucian politician who represented the constituency of Babonneau for the United Workers Party from 2006 to 2011 and from 2016 to 2021. Joseph won the seat at the general election held on 11 December 2006. In the government of Prime Minister John Compton, sworn in on 19 December 2006, he was appointed Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Joseph lost the seat at the general election held on 28 November 2011. He was sworn in as an opposition member of the Senate on 5 January 2012. He resigned from the Senate effective 31 December 2015. The result was a victory for the opposition Saint Lucia Labour Party, which won 13 of the 17 seats in the House, while the ruling United Workers Party lost nine of its eleven seats.
