Donald Leslie Langsford (born 7 May 1959) is a former Australian rules footballer who was highly successful in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) playing for the Swan Districts Football Club.

Langsford was initially recruited from the Scotch College, Perth and commenced his long WAFL career in 1977. A noted defender, Langsford played mostly on the half back flank, but still managed to kick 60 career goals. He also played in four WAFL grandfinals. [2]

Swan Districts entered a period of remarkable success in the early 1980s by winning a hat-trick of premierships in 1982, 1983 and 1984 with Langsford being an integral part of the team. His best year was in 1983 when he was awarded the "Westside Football" Player of the Year award. In 1985-1986 he captained Swan Districts Football Club as well as the WA State Team and in his career played a total of 5 games for WA. [3]

In 1987 Langsford was recruited as part of the West Coast Eagles inaugural team in the AFL, [4] but only ever played in one Pre-Season game for the team. [5]

John Todd rated Langsford as one of the seven best players he coached at Swan Districts.[ citation needed ] He is listed in the Swan Districts Team of the Century as an interchange player. Then in later 2008 was named in the Scotch College Football team of the century adding to his collection of great achievements.

Stephen "Steve" Malaxos is a former Australian rules footballer and coach from Western Australia. While playing for Claremont in the WAFL, he won the 1984 Sandover Medal. Malaxos was an All-Australian with Claremont in 1986 and while he was with the West Coast Eagles in 1988. He was the inaugural fairest and best player at West Coast (1987), holds the Eagles' record for the most possessions in a game (48) and captained the club in 1990.

Stephen Albert Michael is a former Australian rules footballer. More recently, Stephen is the patron of the Stephen Michael Foundation, supporting disengaged, at-risk and disadvantaged youth across Western Australia.

Travis Edmonds is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Swan Districts Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He was also drafted into the Australian Football League three times: to Hawthorn in 1991, to West Coast in 1993, and Fremantle in 1995, but only played one senior game, with Fremantle in 1995. Edmonds debuted for Swan Districts in 1990, and won club best and fairest awards in 1992, 1993, 1997, 2000, and 2001, as well as captaining the club from 2000 to 2002. He also played four interstate matches for Western Australia. Edmonds finished his career with 262 games for Swan Districts, a club record. After the conclusion of his WAFL career in 2005, he was recruited by the Carey Park Football Club in the South West Football League (SWFL), where he played two seasons, winning the league's best and fairest award, the Hayward Medal, in 2006 and captaining the club in 2007.

Ron Boucher is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) playing for the Swan Districts Football Club. He was regarded as a formidable ruckman and is well remembered for his physical clashes with other players, especially Graham Moss.

Graham Thomas Melrose is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) as well as for the East Fremantle Football Club and the Swan Districts Football Club in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL).
