Kevin John Sheedy AO is a former Australian rules football coach and player in the Australian Football League. He played and coached in a combined total of 929 games over 47 years from 1967 until 2013, which is a VFL/AFL record. Sheedy was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2008 and on the 29th of May 2018 was elevated to legend status.
Mark "Bomber" Thompson is a retired Australian rules footballer and former senior coach. He played 202 games for the Essendon Football Club from 1983 to 1996, captaining the side from 1992 until 1995. After retiring, he was an assistant coach at Essendon and then at North Melbourne before becoming the senior coach of the Geelong Football Club from 2000 to 2010 and coaching them to two premierships. In November 2010, Thompson returned to Essendon as a senior assistant coach and was then appointed the senior coach for the 2014 season. He left the club at the end of 2014. On 2 May 2018, he was charged with seven counts of drug trafficking and possession. He was released on $20,000 bail to appear in court at a later date. He was later cleared of trafficking but convicted of possession.
Simon Madden is a former Australian rules footballer for the Essendon Football Club from 1974 until 1992. He was also president of the AFL Players Association from 1985 until 1989.
The Swan Districts Football Club, nicknamed the Swans, is an Australian rules football club playing in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and WAFL Women's (WAFLW). The club is based at Bassendean Oval, in Bassendean, an eastern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The club was formed in 1932, and joined the then-Western Australian National Football League (WANFL) in 1934, acting as a successor to the Midland Junction Football Club, which had disbanded during World War I, in the Perth Hills region.
Dermott Hugh Brereton is an Australian former professional Australian rules football player in the Australian Football League (AFL) who is regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation. Of Irish descent, he was known for his aggressive style of play. Brereton kicked 464 goals and played in five premierships for Hawthorn during his 211-game career. He is a former director of the Hawthorn Football Club and is currently an AFL commentator on Foxtel's 24-hour AFL channel Fox Footy, as well as on radio station SEN 1116.
Barry Davis is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the Victorian Football League (VFL) with Essendon and North Melbourne, before coaching his original team between 1978 and 1980.

Kevin Morris is a former Australian rules football player who played in the Victorian Football League (VFL) between 1971 and 1976 for the Richmond Football Club and then from 1977 until 1981 for the Collingwood Football Club.
Ron Boucher is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) playing for the Swan Districts Football Club. He was regarded as a formidable ruckman and is well remembered for his physical clashes with other players, especially Graham Moss.
Bradley John Shine is a former Australian rules football player who played for the Carlton Football Club in the AFL and Swan Districts Football Club in the WAFL throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. Shine was recruited to Swan Districts in 1980 the same year as Graham Melrose and Anthony Solin during this time he wore the number 7 guernsey. With good skills and pace he fast became an integral part of the dominant Swan Districts side of the early 1980s and played in the 1982,1983 and 1984 premiership teams. In the 1982 and 1984 Grand Finals he played on th half forward flank but in the 1983 Grand Final he played on the ball as a rover and was awarded the Simpson Medal for his superb efforts on the day. In 1985 Shine moved eastwards to play for Carlton but never really made his mark in the seniors but was awarded the reserves best and fairest in 1985 and reserves best Clubman in 1986. During his time at Carlton he wore the number 10 guernsey. Returning to Swan Districts in 1989 he played his last season in 1990 after playing 111 games for the club and kicking 85 goals.
Peter Charles Banfield is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Essendon and the Brisbane Bears in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1980s, and with West Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) during the early 1990s.
Domenico “Mick” Grasso is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Swan Districts in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Originally from Bunbury, Western Australia, Grasso began his career with the South Bunbury Football Club in the South West Football League (SWFL). Recruited by Swan Districts prior to the start of the 1987 season, he made his debut for the club in round one. Grasso won a club best and fairest award in 1988 & 1990 as well as the 1990 Sandover Medal as the best player in the competition. Injuries forced his retirement from the WAFL in 1992, although he remained involved in country football afterwards, in both playing and coaching roles.
Harold Leonard "Len" Halley is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
