Doron Ofir is a casting director and president of Doron Ofir Casting, a division of Popular Productions, Inc. He has worked on various reality television programs, including MTV's Jersey Shore and A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila , HGTV's Design Star , NBC's Nashville Star , Fox's More to Love , E!'s Rich Kids of Beverly Hills , among others. He has been credited as Casting Director, Executive Producer, or Executive Head of Casting on over 100 television productions. [1] [2]

Early life

Ofir grew up in Great Neck, New York, on Long Island. [3] He moved to Miami, Florida, where he attended the University of Miami. From 1989 to 1995, he was a well known doorman at clubs including The Roxy and Liquid. [3] CBS hired him in 2000 to recruit contestants for the reality-television competition The Amazing Race . He then cast the ABC reality-TV show Are You Hot?: The Search for America’s Sexiest People. He went on to work in casting at MTV, and founded Doron Ofir Casting in 2007 and Popular Productions two years later. [3]

JWoww American television personality

Jennifer Lynn Farley, also known as JWoww, is an American television personality. She first came to prominence as one of the eight main cast members in the MTV reality series Jersey Shore, and is a main cast member of its spin-off, Snooki & Jwoww. She has also made several appearances on other shows, such as TNA Impact!, Disaster Date and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. Since 2015, she has starred in the web series Snooki & Jwoww: Moms with Attitude, which started on go90 before moving to the MTV YouTube channel in 2018.

Wicked Summer was a planned TV series similar to the reality series Jersey Shore. According to its producers, it was to be filmed around Boston and Cape Cod in Massachusetts. After an open casting advertisement in 2010, there has been no subsequent activity associated with the series. This show is not to be confused with the planned reality show that was planned to showcase people in South Boston.

SallyAnn Salsano is an American television producer. Her company, 495 Productions, has produced several television reality shows for MTV and syndication, including Jersey Shore and The Real.

<i>Snooki & Jwoww</i>

Snooki & Jwoww is an American reality television series on MTV starring Snooki and JWoww. It is the second of three spin-offs of Jersey Shore, on which both Polizzi and Farley previously gained fame as cast members. The series ran from June 21, 2012 until February 4, 2015 over four seasons. The series, which is executive produced by Jersey Shore producer SallyAnn Salsano of 495 Productions, is described by its stars as a modern-day Laverne & Shirley.

<i>The Valleys</i> (TV series)

The Valleys is a British reality television series based in Cardiff, Wales and broadcast on MTV. The show first aired on 25 September 2012. The series is based on the 2010 film Catfish and premiered on November 12, 2012. It is currently co-hosted by Nev Schulman and Kamie Crawford. Max Joseph served as a co-host for the first seven seasons of the show and his last episode aired on August 22, 2018. Crawford was a guest co-host in numerous episodes of season 7 and joined the main cast in the show's 8th season, alongside Schulman.
