Doselle Young is an American science fiction author, graphic novelist and contributor to both prose and comics anthologies.
Doselle Young is a Los Angeles-based author, story consultant and graphic novelist. He has written stories for such iconic DC Comics characters such as Superman, Wonder Woman and The Authority. He is the author of the twelve-issue limited series The Monarchy (DC/Wildstorm) and has also contributed stories to DC Vertigo's critically acclaimed anthologies Gangland, Heartthrobs and Strange Adventures. In recent years, Doselle has split his creative output between comics, prose fiction and story consulting. His pulp-inspired tale "Housework" appears in the science-fiction/super hero anthology The Darker Mask (Tor/August 2008) while the noir-inspired "Raymond Chandler Slept Here" appears in the upcoming San Diego Noir (Akashic Books, July 2011). Doselle is the writer/creator of the upcoming comics series Perilous and a frequent panelist at science-fiction & comics conventions including ConFusion, PenguiCon, WisCON, San Diego Comic Con, World Con, World Fantasy Convention and LosCon. He has appeared as a guest blogger on author Justine Larbalestier's blog at JustineLarbalestier.com and can also be found on Twitter. A member of the Brights movement, Doselle is an atheist and an outspoken advocate for a naturalistic worldview based on scientific observation.

Vertigo Comics, also known as DC Vertigo or simply Vertigo, was an imprint of American comic book publisher DC Comics started by editor Karen Berger in 1993. Vertigo's purpose was to publish comics with adult content, such as nudity, drug use, profanity, and graphic violence, that did not fit the restrictions of DC's main line, thus allowing more creative freedom. Its titles consisted of company-owned comics set in the DC Universe, such as The Sandman and Hellblazer, and creator-owned works, such as Preacher, Y: The Last Man and Fables. The Vertigo branding was retired in 2020, and most of its library transitioned to DC Black Label.
Colleen Doran is an American writer-artist and cartoonist. She illustrated hundreds of comics, graphic novels, books and magazines, including the autobiographical graphic novel of Marvel Comics editor and writer Stan Lee entitled Amazing Fantastic Incredible Stan Lee, which became a New York Times bestseller. She adapted and did the art for the short story "Troll Bridge" by Neil Gaiman, which also became a New York Times bestseller. Her books have received Eisner, Harvey, Bram Stoker, and International Horror Guild Awards.
Ed Brubaker is an American comic book writer, cartoonist and screenwriter who works primarily in the crime fiction genre. He began his career with the semi-autobiographical series Lowlife and a number of serials in the Dark Horse Presents anthology, before achieving industry-wide acclaim with the Vertigo series Scene of the Crime and moving to the superhero comics such as Batman, Catwoman, The Authority, Captain America, Daredevil and Uncanny X-Men. Brubaker is best known for his long-standing collaboration with British artist Sean Phillips, starting with their Elseworlds one-shot Batman: Gotham Noir in 2001 and continuing with a number of creator-owned series such as Criminal, Incognito, Fatale, The Fade Out and Kill or Be Killed.
