Douglas Joseph Daley (1933-1994) was an Australian rugby league player and administrator.
Daley was originally from Alstonville, New South Wales and came to the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in 1955. He went on to play seven seasons with the club between 1955 and 1961, mainly as a second-row forward. Daley played in the 1957 Grand Final loss to St George Dragons.
After his playing career was over, he went into club administration, firstly as treasurer of the Manly club between 1969 and 1984, and then he was promoted to Club Secretary in 1985. He was elevated to the position of CEO at Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles between 1987 and 1992. He was the father of the rugby league footballer; Phil Daley. [2]
Daley died on 22 March 1994, aged 60, after a long battle with cancer. [3]
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. They compete in Australia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League (NRL). The club debuted in the 1947 New South Wales Rugby Football League season and currently hosts the majority of their home games at Brookvale Oval in Brookvale. They train at the New South Wales Academy of Sport in Narrabeen and their Centre of Excellence in Brookvale. The team colours are maroon and white, and they are commonly known as Manly.

Jason King is an Australian sports administrator who currently works for the NRL. King is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. A New South Wales State of Origin representative front row forward, King played his club football in Sydney for the Northern Eagles and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, with whom he won the 2008 NRL Premiership. He also represented City Origin.
Desmond John Hasler is an Australian professional rugby league coach and former player who is the current head coach of the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League.
Geoffrey Toovey, also known by the nickname of "Toovs" or "Tooves", is the former head coach of the Bradford Bulls and former professional rugby league footballer. Toovey played halfback for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, then played as a hooker later in his career at the Northern Eagles. He played 286 first-grade matches in all, and captained Manly to the 1996 ARL premiership and the 1995 and 1997 grand finals. He played in 13 international matches for Australia between 1991 and 1998. Toovey is the former head coach of Manly-Warringah.
Cliff Lyons is an indigenous Australian former international rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. A Clive Churchill Medallist and two-time Dally M Medallist, he made 309 first-grade appearances with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, winning grand finals with them in 1987 and 1996. Lyons also represented New South Wales and Australia, being part of the successful 1990 Kangaroo Tour of Great Britain and France.
Roy Bull was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s and 1950s and spent his whole career – as player, coach & administrator – with the Manly-Warringah club in Sydney. In addition to playing in three New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership grand finals, he was a representative for the New South Wales rugby league team and the Australian national side. He has since been named amongst the nation's finest footballers of the 20th century.
Geoff Gerard is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s. An Australia international and New South Wales State of Origin representative forward, he played his club football with Sydney clubs Parramatta, Manly Warringah and Penrith, and also spent time with English clubs Wakefield Trinity and Hull FC. From the time of his retirement in early 1989 to mid-1994 he held the record for the most career New South Wales Rugby League premiership first-grade games until overtaken by Terry Lamb. He holds the distinction of playing in the most first-grade grand finals (four) without ever winning one.
The history of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles dates back to 1932 when the Manly-Warringah Junior Rugby Football League was founded. In 1947 the New South Wales Rugby Football League included two additional teams: Manly-Warringah DRLFC and Parramatta DRLFC. The new club adopted the nickname "Sea Eagles" and went on to compete in every season of top-level rugby league until merging with the nearby North Sydney Bears to form the Northern Eagles club at the end of 1999. After three years the joint-venture team was disbanded with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles returning as a sole entity once more to the National Rugby League.

Luke Williamson is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He is now coach of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles' NSW Cup team after previously coaching the team in 2011 and being the coach of Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Toyota Cup (Under-20s) team in the 2012 competition. His playing career was spent with the Adelaide Rams, the Canberra Raiders, the Northern Eagles and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League and for the Harlequins RL in the Super League.

An Australian international and New South Wales interstate representative front row forward, he played club football for Manly-Warringah, with whom he won the 1978 NSWRFL Premiership, as well as Balmain.
George Hunter was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1940 and 1950s who also coached the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles first grade team. Hunter played in two New South Wales Rugby League first grade Grand finals as well as coaching Manly-Warringah to a Grand final in 1968.
Jake Trbojevic, commonly nicknamed Jurbo, is an Australian professional rugby league player who plays as a lock and prop for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League (NRL) and Australia at international level.
