Douglas Geiser (born June 4, 1968) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Ashland University, a position he has held since 2023. [1] [2] He was previously an assistant coach for Ashland from 2004 to 2022. [3] He also previously coached for Akron, Lyndhurst Brush High School, Liberty-Benton High School, and Triway High School. [4]

Prior to joining the staff at Colorado, he most recently served as the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL) from 2020 to 2021. A 32-year coaching veteran, Shurmur has 21 seasons of NFL experience, including the last 11 years as a head coach or offensive coordinator.
