Dustin Beurer is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Northwood University, a position he has held since 2023. Beurer served as the head football coach at Albion College in Albion, Michigan from 2019 to 2022.

Albion

Beurer was named head coach of Albion on September 6, 2018. He was promoted from his roles as assistant head coach, offensive coordinator, and recruiting coordinator to succeed longtime head coach Craig Rundle, who retired. [1]

Craig Rundle is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Saint Mary's College of California from 1986 to 1989, and Colorado College from 1990 to 1996, and Albion College from 1997 to 2018, compiling a career college football coaching record of 184–141–1. Rundle led Albion to seven Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) titles.

Peter J. Schmidt was an American football coach. He was the head football coach at Albion College from 1983 to 1996 and led the school to nine Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championships and the NCAA Division III Football Championship in 1994. He has also served as the offensive coordinator at Indiana University from 1997 to 1999. Schmidt died in September 2000 at age 52 after a year-long battle with cancer. Schmidt's overall record in 14 years as a college football head coach is 104–27–4. Since 2001, the Pete Schmidt Memorial Scholar-Athlete Award has been presented each year by the MIAA football coaches to an outstanding scholar-athlete at an MIAA school.

Richard R. "Bud" Daugherty was an American football, basketball, baseball, and track and field coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at Jamestown College—now known as the University of Jamestown—in Jamestown, North Dakota from 1916 to 1917, Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota from 1919 to 1926, and Albion College in Albion, Michigan from 1927 to 1935, compiling a career college football coaching record of 80–50–8.
