Doug Johnson is an American jazz and classical pianist who has performed with Esperanza Spalding and Grace Kelly. He teaches at the Berklee College of Music and at Wellesley College.
Doug Johnson received a B.M. from Michigan State University and an M.M. from the New England Conservatory, where he studied with Dave Holland and George Russell.
Johnson has performed extensively in the U.S. at major venues such as the Jazz Standard in New York City. In Europe, he has performed in London, Vienna, Berlin, Paris, and Copenhagen. Festivals he has played at include Montreal, Toronto, Tanglewood, Oslo, Boston, Warsaw, and Newport Jazz Festival. [1]
He has performed with Esperanza Spalding's quintet. Other musicians he has performed with include Luciana Souza, Mili Bermejo, Chiara Civello, the Grand Rapids Symphony, and the Handel and Haydn Society. [2]
With Grace Kelly
Wayne Shorter was an American jazz saxophonist, composer and bandleader. Shorter came to mainstream prominence in 1959 upon joining Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, for whom he eventually became the primary composer. In 1964 he joined Miles Davis' Second Great Quintet, and then co-founded the jazz fusion band Weather Report in 1970. He recorded more than 20 albums as a bandleader.
Joseph Salvatore Lovano is an American jazz multi-instrumentalist. Though best known as a tenor saxophonist, Lovano has also recorded on alto clarinet, flute and drums, amongst other instruments. He has earned a Grammy Award and several mentions in Down Beat magazine's critics' & readers' polls. His wife is singer Judi Silvano, with whom he records and performs. Lovano was a longtime member of the late drummer Paul Motian‘s trio alongside guitarist Bill Frisell.

Fuller is currently a faculty member in the ensembles department at Berklee College of Music. Fuller was a Featured Jazz Musician in Pixar's animated film Soul. For the film Fuller plays an alto saxophone with a Vandoren mouthpiece for the character Dorothea Williams. The appearance of Dorothea Williams is influenced by Fuller, and the character's speaking lines are voiced by Angela Bassett.

Thara Memory was a trumpeter and educator from Eatonville, Florida. He attended Alabama State University and Marylhurst University. He lived in Portland, Oregon, United States from the 1970s until his death in 2017. His daughter, Tahirah Memory, is an internationally known jazz vocalist.
